They really should’ve did this as a PLE and not an NXT show and did it in November during the weekend of Survivor Series. It would’ve made perfect sense.

There's a good reason they're doing this next week. AEW is intentionally competing with NXT this week with a loaded "Homecoming" show, so NXT needs something big to counter.

When WWE has been preempted in the past like 10 years they just move to a different channel (Fox to FS1, USA to SyFy, etc).
