I don't understand how beating Florida, not smoking them, just beating them, causes a team to climb from 4 to 2.It's not like two of the teams ahead of Miami lost or even had particularly close games. I'm a little surprised that Memphis isn't ranked after beating Arkansas.

Just for the heck of it, the following unranked teams are undefeated: Navy, North Texas, Memphis, Louisville, Houston, Central Florida, Arizona, Maryland, Washington, UNLV, and Mississippi St.

The following teams have not won a game this year: Oregon St, UCLA, UMass, Miami (Ohio), and Sam Houston.
