WWF WrestleMania VII – March 24, 1991

Location: Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena, Los Angeles, California

Ultimate Warrior regains the WWF Championship from Hulk Hogan at MSG in February, thanks to the involvement of the Iraqi sympathizer turncoat, Sgt. Slaughter and Ted Dibiase gets an unexpected gift offered to him on a silver - or rather golden platter for Wrestlemania VII; already scheduled to challenge for the Intercontinental title, Dibiase is able to manipulate Warrior into also putting his WWF title on the line at Wrestlemania. But WWF President Jack Tunney sees through Dibiase's tactics and orders the titles to be defended in 2 separate matches at Mania during the night. As for Hogan, he has the opportunity to seek revenge on Slaughter in the co-main event of the show. The Legion of Doom win the WWF Tag Team titles shortly before Wrestlemania and are set to defend against the Nasty Boys, but with all the controversy surrounding the way the Nasties secured their title shot against the LOD, the Hart Foundation also want a piece of the Nasty Boys so Knobbs & Sags will be pulling double duty on the show as well.
