I really enjoy the original twists you put on things, but I personally still feel like things rely a little too heavily on what actually happened in real life in this BTB. I know that's feedback I've probably shared in bits and pieces. I don't know how to explain it. Sometimes I'm reading in the hope will get some awesome move, but then it's just the same. Leaves me wanting something more. I'd get it more from the first few months of a BTB and building things up, but just frustrates me that I still feel this way 18 months in or whatever we are.
I'll get the negative out of the way first, because like I said, there's still a lot of enjoyable stuff in here. Where you have allowed creativity and original ideas, you have nailed it more times than not, which is probably why I see myself enjoying a lot of your mid card stuff more than the main event scene.
I don't know if I've ever really shared those thoughts properly, so there they are.
As for Shotgun, one thing I love is faction squash matches. The idea of The Hart Foundation competing in a six man (which didn't happen anywhere near enough), and just squashing teams of jobbers before the ten man tag at the PPV is awesome to me.
I think the extended booking of the whole Lawler/ECW thing deserved some credit to. Good stuff.
Also nice to see Juvi getting a little bit of spotlight in the main event to.
I also appreciate that you didn't take the easy way out, and kept Shotgun as it was in its early stages. You've morphed Shotgun into a borderline lower card show and I just prefer the nod to realism there.
Feel like comments on Raw where more is happening will show my appreciation of your work more, so hopefully I'll get to an episode at some point.
