Watched 6-3-94 last night. It really is so good, even if the big chase thrills can't last once you know the results. The only niggle, I think, is that this is one of the most obvious instances of Misawa deciding eventually he isn't going to sell anymore, aka Supermanning. He's less extreme about this than Kobashi can be, but when he does it his flat affect makes it somehow more irritating.

That Misawa/Kawada match is bonkers good. It also shows that the Japanese crowd isn't as "quiet/respectful" as people always said. Absolute banger and atmosphere all around.

Yep, they're about the hottest crowds in the world on days like those. Kobashi/Kikuchi vs Kroffat/Furnas is the other AJ example that springs to mind

I'm currently watching WCW Clash of Champions 7 and the last match saw Ranger Ross face a masked man known as The Terrorist. It brings up an interesting trivia question. Who is the only WCW wrestler to compete as four completely different masked characters, not acknowledged as the same person, and three of which only competing in only one match, all with in the same year?

Jack Victory as Russian Assassin #2 at Clash of Champions 5 against Midnight Express, as The Blackmailer also at COC 5 against Lex Luger, The Terrorist at COC 7 against Ranger Ross, and The Super Destroyer at COC 9 against Dr. Death Steve Williams
