Last weekend after my nephews birthday party, my brother and this other guy (I don't remember the relation) tried to play poker with checkers and connect 4 pieces as chips lol but all 3 of us had only actually played on red dead and never with real cards

Just go by this, you want the better hand. The. It's just guessing if the other guy is bluffing or not bc you'll know what they could potentially have since you can see the 5 cards on the table once they're all flipped

That'll win most rounds, I've found the thing to really be mindful of is if the cards on the table are mostly the same suit, be mindful that if anyone else has that suit then they can have a flush even if it's all out of order
