Good news for your team @Deadd2009

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens reached a contract agreement with left tackle Ronnie Stanley on Saturday, securing their top free agent and quarterback Lamar Jackson's blind side for the near future.

Stanley's three-year deal is worth $60 million, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. His average of $20 million per year is tied for eighth among left tackles.

The deal was reached two days before the start of the negotiation period in free agency. Stanley, a two-time Pro Bowl player, was expected to draw strong interest in the open market.

The Ravens have now brought back four offensive line starters from last season's No. 1-ranked offense. Left guard Patrick Mekari is an unrestricted free agent.

Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta and coach John Harbaugh expressed optimism about re-signing Stanley at the NFL scouting combine last month.

Last season, Stanley talked about how much he valued playing in Baltimore and blocking for Jackson and running back Derrick Henry.

Stanley, 30, has been Baltimore's starting left tackle since 2016.

He is coming off his best season since a career-altering left ankle injury in 2020. When protecting Jackson's blind side last season, Stanley ranked 12th in pass block win rate among tackles (92.5%), played in every game for the first time in his career and continued to be a respected leader.

It was a solid bounce-back year for Stanley, who took a 50% pay cut last offseason to remain with the Ravens. Stanley said he took a $7.5 million salary reduction because he didn't want to leave Baltimore after a down season in 2023.

Durability has been a major issue for Stanley. Since signing a five-year, $98.75 million deal midway through the 2020 season, he has missed 36 games over the past five seasons because of ankle, shoulder and knee injuries.

Stanley, the No. 6 overall pick in 2016, produced his best season in 2019 when he became the Ravens' first All-Pro left tackle since Hall of Famer Jonathan Ogden. In 104 starts, Stanley has allowed 28 sacks, including five last season.

No charges are being brought up against Worthy.

Will be interesting to see if there’s any punishment from the league

Good news for the Commanders:

Three-time time Pro Bowl tight end Zach Ertz is re-signing with the Washington Commanders, a source confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter on Saturday.

The deal is for one-year and worth $6.25 million with a maximum value of $9 million.

Ertz, who ranks sixth on the all-time receptions list for tight ends with 775, underwent a career resurgence last season, his first with the Commanders.

He caught 66 passes for 654 yards and seven touchdowns -- his highest amount of scoring receptions since he had eight in 2018 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He finished with the fifth most receptions among tight ends last season and was fourth in touchdown catches.

Ertz, 34, was a favorite target of rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, especially on third or fourth down and in the red zone. All of Ertz's touchdown receptions occurred in the red zone and he was fourth among tight ends with 13 catches inside the 20-yard line. Including the postseason, Ertz caught 26 passes on third or fourth down -- second most behind the Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce.

Before 2024, Ertz spent two injury-shortened seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, missing a combined 17 games. Ertz spent his first eight-plus seasons with Philadelphia where he set the single-season reception record for tight ends with 116 in 2018. He was voted to three Pro Bowl teams with the Eagles, who traded him to Arizona on Oct. 15, 2021.

Ertz needs 34 receptions to pass Shannon Sharpe and move into fifth among tight ends on the all-time receptions list.

ESPN's John Keim contributed to this report.

No doubt Ertz gets those 34 Receptions he broke Records with my Eagles and still till this day my favorite TE from the franchise. It might be a little bit harder though Deebo is going to eat up those Receptions but he might eat if Teams try to lock down the Terry and Deebo freeing him up.

The Cleveland Browns and Myles Garrett have agreed on a contract extension that averages $40 million per year and includes $123.5 million in guaranteed money, making the star defensive end the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, sources told ESPN.

The Browns announced the four-year extension, which runs through the 2030 season, on Sunday but did not disclose financial terms.

The contract includes a no-trade clause and ties Garrett to the Browns through the 2030 season, according to sources, meaning the four-time All-Pro's path from "Cleveland to Canton" is back on. Lynn and Berry worked together over the past 36 hours to cement the deal.

The sides agreed to the deal two days after reports circulated that Browns owner Jimmy Haslam recently declined a request to meet with Garrett regarding his trade request.

Both Garrett and the Browns had been dug in on their respective stances: The former NFL Defensive Player of the Year wanted to be traded to a contender, and the organization was adamant that it would not acquiesce in the request. Garrett first requested a trade in early February.

Sad, but true. I was wanting him gone from the Browns because Watson's still on the team, plus the team's dog shit. He deserves better than wasting years of his prime on a team that won't get a sniff of the playoffs.

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Bills on Sunday released pass rusher Von Miller ahead of the league year.

The move opens up $8.4 million in cap space, helping the team to get under the cap before the new league year, which starts Wednesday.

The team is open to bringing back Miller, who turns 36 on March 26, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Bills thanked Miller for his three seasons with the team when announcing his release.

The move gives the Bills $15.4 million in dead cap money for this year. Miller was under contract through 2027.

Miller was set to account for the second-most cap space on the roster ($23.9 million) only behind quarterback Josh Allen.

Releasing Miller comes after the Bills signed defensive end Greg Rousseau to a four-year extension Saturday. Sources told Schefter the extension, worth $80 million, includes $54 million guaranteed. The position remains a need for the team this offseason.

Miller's time with the Bills has been anything but smooth. The pass rusher signed a six-year deal worth $120 million in the 2022 offseason. After a good start that included eight sacks in 11 games, he suffered a major right ACL injury on Nov. 24, 2022. Miller stated during training camp in 2024 that he "probably should not have played" in 2023 because of the injury. He finished the 2023 season playing in 12 games and recording zero sacks and three tackles.

He restructured his contract last offseason, taking a pay cut and saving the Bills $8.645 million in cap space.

"Last year at this time, we were working on a restructure for him, and he did something unprecedented," general manager Brandon Beane said at the NFL scouting combine. "... He took a pay cut below his actual guarantee. And you're talking about a first-ballot Hall of Famer that did that. So, a lot of respect for what he did to come back and try and help us chase this trophy. And I thought as the year went on, he continued to show that he could still play."

Miller was then suspended four games (Weeks 5-8) for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, stemming from allegations of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend in suburban Dallas during the Bills' bye week in 2023. He turned himself in to the police and soon after was released on bond. The case was later closed, and charges were never filed. The NFL conducted a separate investigation.

The two-time Super Bowl champion had a solid season in 2024 as part of the team's defensive line rotation, recording six regular-season sacks. Miller did not play more than 21 snaps in any of the Bills' three playoff games, including 16 in the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

He had 14 sacks overall in three seasons and 23 quarterback hits.

Drafted No. 2 overall by the Broncos in 2011, Miller went on to be named the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Year and had 110 sacks in 10 seasons with Denver.

An eight-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time first-team All-Pro, he has 129.5 sacks in 14 NFL seasons. He won Super Bowls with the Broncos (2015) and in his one season with the Los Angeles Rams (2021) and had nine sacks combined during those two postseasons.

Miller ranks 16th all-time with his 129.5 sacks, the most since he came into the league.

Really shocked he's staying on to be honest I guess he didn't care enough about winning SBs like he was talking about before wanting to get out of the organization. Money talks for sure in this situation but look at this though he'll be 34 in 5 Years and if he keeps his body healthy could be due another payday for someone but I'll put my bets higher he doesn't finish that Contract with the Browns at all.

What a acquisition by the Rams. Best replacement since Kupp's out the door. And hey, there's a chance that the Rams may sign Lockett as well.
