That’s why they even named a group the judgment day because they didn’t wanna lose the trademark, but they had zero interest in a new jd pay-per-view lol NXT on the other hand is now hosting a battleground.

Probably also the reason why NXT has taken hold of a lot of the old ECWCW PPVs (Heatwave, Great American Bash, Halloween Havoc, etc)

exactly. NXT is kind of in the place where they put all pay-per-view to not lose the trademark where they don’t want to bring them back to WWE. Like they just announced NXT battleground for May.
