Revolutionary Wrestling Entertainment

The year is 2011 and the month is April, and there have been some big changes in the world of professional wrestling. The WWE was bought out by a man of immense financial backing just days before Wrestlemania 27, leaving wrestling fans bewildered. On the other end of the scale, TNA was unable to cope with it's rapid spending and was forced to file for bankruptcy.

With this new wrestling promotion sending shockwaves across the world, just what are we to expect from the press conference that will be broadcast live across the world on Friday the 1st of April? We have been promised some huge announcements, so you don't want to miss this!

Press Conference regarding a new wrestling promotion.

A camera is turned on as it shows a room full to capacity with various members of the media, all looking to get the exclusive scoop on the next big company in the history of professional wrestling. The future of professional wrestling hangs in the balance, so just what will go down tonight?

As the crowd is beginning to get restless, a man of no real significance steps up to the podium as every single camera in the room begins to flash, all taking photos of this historic moment

DPM_at_podium.jpg

Man: Please be seated.

Anybody standing up now takes their seat

Man: Thank you and welcome to a very special night, a night where all your questions will be answered. Allow me to introduce to you the man that will be providing you with the answers tonight. Allow me to introduce to you the man that has made all this happen. Allow me to introduce to you the man with the vision of making history in professional wrestling. Without further ado, allow me to present - Bill Gates!

Everybody is incredibly shocked that Bill Gates is the man behind the cash. Gates thanks the man for the introduction with a hand shake, before waving to everybody

bill-gates-404_674661c.jpg

Bill Gates: Thank you for that very warm welcome, I certainly appreciate it. Now I know many people will be wondering what I have to do with buying out a wrestling company, well I will answer that with an "it's purely business". I was informed of the increasing revenue of World Wrestling Entertainment and I have been a closet wrestling fan for a long time. Now I don't have any posters up on my bedroom wall or anything of the sort, but I have enjoyed watching from time-to-time and have witnessed it grow substantially over the past few decades.

Gates takes a short break to take a sip of water

Bill Gates: When people think of me, they think of one word - Microsoft. My income and status as the second richest man in the world is a result of my decades of hard work and perseverance, but I am often viewed as a plain, boring figure. I'm really not that man at all, although my appearance may not help my case haha. Many may criticise this move and view it as just an avenue for me to regain my status as the richest man in the world, but that cannot be further from the truth. My decision is to indulge in a new challenge, stepping out of my comfort zone into a new era of expertise; it really isn't about the money at all. I have enough of that.

Gates has a chuckle at that little joke as some of the crowd laugh too

Bill Gates: I think it's about time I get down to the business as I do not want to keep everybody waiting in anticipation any longer. The name of this wrestling promotion will be known as Revolutionary Wrestling Entertainment, or the RWE, but that is as far as my influence goes. I may own the company, but I will only be the financial business mind behind the organisation. So that leaves me to make the next announcement of the night, which is who the Chairman of the RWE is.

Everybody listens closely to the second announcement of the night

Bill Gates: I felt that I should not tamper with a successful formula as that would be foolish, so I introduce to you the Chairman of RWE - Vincent Kennedy McMahon!

McMahon gets up on stage and shakes hands with Gates. McMahon steps up to the podium as Gates steps to the back. As McMahon goes to speak, a man obviously very excited with the announcement yells out "Woo hoo" as McMahon reacts

vince-mcmahon.jpg

The serious look on McMahon's face sure enough turns to a smile

Vince McMahon: The purchase of my company, World Wrestling Entertainment, really came as a shock to me. Was I disappointed that it occurred? Of course, I was in a position where I could make millions but no longer be a part of a business that I love with a passion, that business being professional wrestling. Bill informed me that my intelligence regarding how to run a successful wrestling company is priceless and that he would love for me to sign the dotted line as Chairman of the RWE. So, after a very short deliberation, I signed the contract and now have full control of Revolutionary Wrestling Entertainment.

McMahon takes a quick breath before continuing

Vince McMahon: Now let's get down to business. The purchase of the WWE has been in motion for weeks and I have already signed off on many decisions regarding the direction of the RWE, which include the two brands. As Bill said, he is not a man to tamper with a successful formula, and neither am I, so the brands will remain as Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown. Will NXT or Superstars make a return? Well you'll all just have to wait and see, but one thing is for sure, RAW and Smackdown are back and one Sunday of every month RWE will host a pay-per-view event.

McMahon adjusts his tie before continuing

Vince McMahon: I could stand here and inform you all of everything I have planned for the RWE, but I'm simply not going to do that. Like a magician doesn't reveal the secrets of his trade, a successful businessman comes under the same category. All I will leave you with is this - the very first edition of Monday Night RAW begins... in three night’s time! And whose face will you see first? Well it just wouldn't be RAW without the Chairman kicking things off now would it?

McMahon has a laugh as a few people join in with him

Vince McMahon: Every broadcast deal the WWE had now switches over to the RWE, so both RAW and Smackdown will appear in their usual timeslot. Thank you to everybody for coming out tonight, but this is the end of tonight's press conference. Stay safe.

McMahon walks over to Gates as the two smile and shake hands, posing for numerous pictures. A few people yell out questions here and there, but they get no answers. The broadcast ends

RWE Monday Night RAW - Episode 1

A packed arena is shown on the titantron as the crowd all stand up and cheer, waving about their various signs in anticipation of the very first Monday Night RAW. The crowd don't have to wait very long for things to be kicked off...

The crowd all begin to cheer for the arrival of the Chairman of the RWE. Sure enough, Vince McMahon struts out from the back with a microphone in hand and a grin on his face. McMahon waves to the crowd as he walks to the top of the ramp, where he stops and waits patiently for the crowd to quiet down

vince-mcmahon.jpg

Vince McMahon: Welcome, everybody, to a very historic night in the history of professional wrestling. I think you're all aware of what I'm going to say next, but just to make sure I will say it anyway - welcome to Monday Night RAWWWW!

McMahon grins at the ovation he receives. The crowd are very pumped up for tonight's show

Vince McMahon: Now tonight isn't going to be the usual edition of Monday Night RAW. Since the groundbreaking announcement was made a few nights ago, my phone has been ringing like crazy, so you're all very lucky that I managed to find the time in my busy schedule to make an appearance. I have been running around like a headless chicken all weekend trying to get everything organised for tonight's show... and I did. My vision for tonight is going to go perfectly, nothing is going to ruin it or else there will be severe consequences.

The look on McMahon's face is a very serious one that quickly changes

Vince McMahon: So, without further ado, I think it's time I announce to you all the General Manager of Monday Night RAW. Now this man isn't usually a favourite of the RWE Universe, but he does a damn good job running a show and I just couldn't look past him. Are you ready to find out who the General Manager is?

McMahon pauses momentarily as the crowd cheer

Vince McMahon: You've got it. The General Manager of Monday Night RAW is...

McMahon points to the titantron as some familiar music hits...

The entire RWE Universe boo as the man of the moment walks out from the back with a grin on his face and microphone in hand. Bischoff walks over to McMahon as the two shake hands. McMahon steps to the side as Bischoff sucks in the negative vibe, relishing every second of it

eric-bischoff.jpg

Eric Bischoff: Thank you for that less than welcoming reaction. I just want to start off saying one thing - I'M BACK BABY!

Bischoff laughs as the crowd boo him even louder

Eric Bischoff: Alright, settle down, settle down. As of right now, I am in charge of Monday Night RAW, and what I say around here goes. Once again I am the General Manager of Monday Night RAW, and this brand is going to be catapulted to the very top, its name written in the history books and it will be all thanks to me. Now it's time for me to get right down to business and start booking some matches...

Vince McMahon: Hold on a moment, Eric.

Bischoff is a little taken back that McMahon interrupted him

Vince McMahon: Don't get me wrong, I love that you want to get the ball rolling, but I have another announcement to make, and it regards who the General Manager of Friday Night Smackdown is.

The crowd begin to cheer, ready to see who is in charge of the opposite brand

Vince McMahon: Now, as I said, Eric isn't exactly a favourite of the RWE Universe, but this man is. He has been a part of the WWE in many different ways, from being a referee, to being a manager, to running Friday Night Smackdown in the past. I'm sure you've all got an idea of who he is, so let's bring him out.

McMahon again points to the titantron as some familiar music hits...

The entire crowd get up onto their feet and cheer the arrival of Teddy Long. Sure enough Long comes out in his suit and starts to dance as Bischoff looks disgusted. Long and McMahon shake hands as Long raises the microphone to his mouth

teddy_long.jpg

Teddy Long: RWE Universe, how're we all doing tonight?

Long is cheered by the crowd

Teddy Long: Listen up. When Vince McMahon rang me and wanted me to be the General Manager for Sma...

Eric Bischoff: Nobody cares!

Bischoff is booed as Long isn't really surprised by the interruption

Eric Bischoff: You've been announced as the Smackdown General Manager, but look around you, Teddy, does all this scream "Smackdown" to you? No, it doesn't, and you want to know why that is? It's because this is Monday Night RAW, this is MY show, I call the shots around here and I never said you could come out here and give us your life story. Vince, can I now get on with my show and announce my plans for the roster?

As Bischoff finishes speaking, McMahon is looking directly at him. Suddenly McMahon grins

Vince McMahon: As much as I would like for you to take control of RAW right now, I've got another announcement to make and I think now would be the perfect time to make it. Now, Eric, I gave you a list of superstars that have been signed to the company on Thursday night and gave you the entire week to make your choices. Do you have the list of your desired RAW roster?

Eric Bischoff: I sure do. Here it is!

Bischoff reaches into his pocket and pulls out a piece of paper and hands it to McMahon. McMahon opens it and starts to read it, before ripping it straight down the middle. Bischoff is dumbfounded

Eric Bischoff: What... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?

Vince McMahon: Making the announcement. I said earlier that tonight wasn't going to be your usual edition of Monday Night RAW, and here's why. We are going to have RWE's first ever draft show!

The crowd cheer in excitement as Long rubs his hands, obviously enjoying the announcement. Bischoff is still dumbfounded

Eric Bischoff: And you couldn't have told me this on Thursday night?

Vince McMahon: Well I've only made this decision as of this morning. The talent boom RWE has received since Friday night's press conference has been staggering, so I decided it'd be best if we had a draft.

Eric Bischoff: Then why didn't you tell me that this morning?

Teddy Long: I think I can answer for Mr McMahon here, playa, and with just three words - controversy creates cash!

Long is cheered for stealing Bischoff's line. McMahon cannot help but smile

Vince McMahon: That's not what I was going to say... in fact, I couldn't have put it better myself. This draft is going to be much bigger than you all expect as we are going to do not one, not two, but THREE individual drafts! I have with me two lists, one for the both of you, that has every single superstar, tag team and broadcast announcer on it, and in the next fifteen minutes you're both going to decide who you want. How does that sound?

Teddy Long: Mr McMahon, that sounds fair to me, playa.

Eric Bischoff: Whatever, I don't care.

Vince McMahon: Well, alright then. Time to get to work!

The crowd cheer as Long and Bischoff begin to read their lists. We are taken to a commercial

--------------------------------------------------

your_demise_the_kids_we_used_to_be.jpg

While writing this commercial, I was listening to the album "The Kids We Used To Be" by Your Demise.

--------------------------------------------------

We arrive back from commercial as time is almost up for Eric Bischoff and Teddy Long to decide their draft picks

Vince McMahon: By my watch, you both have one minute remaining to finalise your draft picks.

Bischoff is looking intensely at his piece of paper, running his fingers through his hair, obviously having trouble deciding. Long finished during the commercial break and is watching with a grin as Bischoff struggles

Vince McMahon: Are you sure you don't want to use the remaining time left, Teddy?

Teddy Long: No I'm perfectly fine, thanks Mr McMahon.

Bischoff's head shoots up

Eric Bischoff: Are you kidding me, you're already finished?!

Teddy Long: That would be correct, playa. I've been waiting patiently for the past five minutes for time to expire. You look like you could use some help there, Eric.

Eric Bischoff: Shut up, Teddy, I don't need your help!

For the remaining time, Bischoff continues to rack his brain but manages to finish seconds before the fifteen minutes is up

Eric Bischoff: Finished! Haha, it was a big mistake finishing so early, Teddy.

Teddy Long: You continue to think that, playa, but I'm confident in my memory and my draft picks.

Bischoff stares at a very confident Long

Vince McMahon: Well then, let's get this draft under way. Teddy, seeing as though you were done first, who have you decided to have sit on the Smackdown announce table?

Teddy Long: Well, Mr McMahon, both these men have served the Smackdown brand proudly these past few years, and really I can't look past them. I've decided that Josh Matthews and Matt Striker will be members of the Smackdown announce team.

Eric Bischoff: Are you serious? Striker doesn't even know half the stuff he says, and Matthews couldn't talk his way out of a paper bag! My new announce team will run circles around yours, because it consists of a WWE Hall of Famer and the voice of RWE. That's right, my announce team is Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole!

The crowd boo at the mention of Michael Cole

Vince McMahon: Very interesting choices, but very good ones at that...

Eric Bischoff: So now it's my turn to announce the tag teams I have chosen...

Vince McMahon: Hold on a moment, Eric. I still have one more announcement to make.

Eric Bischoff: Great, what now!

Vince McMahon: This...

McMahon again points to the titantron as some familiar music hits...

The crowd go ballistic with cheers as the Hardcore Legend, Mick Foley, walks out from the back. Foley does his trademark hand guns as he walks over and shakes McMahon's hand. Foley attempts to shake Bischoff's hand, but Bischoff has none of it, but Long happily obliges

mick-foley-interview-20070305044936622-000.jpg

Mick Foley: I bet none of you were expecting to see my mug around here anytime soon. Just so you all know, you're not looking at a ghost, I am back for good!

Foley is cheered again

Eric Bischoff: Foley, what the hell are you doing out here?

Mick Foley: Well I'm the new General Manager, that's why.

A sense of confusion is felt around the arena

Eric Bischoff: Are you delusional, Mick? There are two brands and both already have General Managers.

Mick Foley: Actually, you're wrong, Eric.

Eric Bischoff: What? What are you talking about?

McMahon steps forward

Vince McMahon: I think I should answer that question. With the massive influx of talent wanting to join the RWE ranks, and the massive financial backing this company has, we have been able to establish a THIRD brand that Mick Foley will be General Manager of.

Eric Bischoff: Is that so, and what will this brand be called?

Vince McMahon: I'm glad you asked, Eric. Mick, would you do the honours?

Mick Foley: Vince, it would be my honour. The brand will be called...

Foley clears his throat

Mick Foley: IMPACT!

Bischoff is shocked as the crowd cheer

Mick Foley: And as for who my broadcast announcers will be? I'll have my good friends Mike Tenay and Taz sitting at that announce table every week.

Everybody loves the sound of that announce team

Vince McMahon: I don't often do this, but tonight it is necessary. I think we need to go to a commercial break before we move on any further.

Sure enough, McMahon gets what he wants as we are taken to a commercial break

--------------------------------------------------

A-Bullet-For-Pretty-Boy-Revision-Revise.jpg

While writing this commercial, I was listening to the album "Revision:Revise" by A Bullet For Pretty Boy.

--------------------------------------------------

We arrive back from the commercial break as everybody is ready to continue the draft

Vince McMahon: Now I have one final announcement to make for the night. Due to Mick Foley having a longer period of time to look over the superstar list than Eric and Teddy, iMPACT will not get a first round draft pick. Instead, RAW will have the first tag team draft pick and Smackdown will have the first singles draft pick. Do I make myself clear?

Each General Manager agrees with McMahon

Vince McMahon: Good, now how about we get the tag team draft underway. I want the three of you to come straight out with who your draft picks are, no wasting my time or the RWE Universe's time. Get straight to the point. Again, do I make myself clear?

Again the three General Managers agree with McMahon

Vince McMahon: Alright then. Eric, you're up first.

FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER!

Some time passes as each brand has now used their tag team draft picks to decide which five teams will be donning the Red of RAW, Blue of Smackdown or Green of iMPACT

Vince McMahon: And that concludes the tag team draft. Let's take a look at where each team is heading...

A list flashes up onto the titantron

Jeremy Buck & Max Buck (Generation Me) to RAW
David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd (The Hart Dynasty) to SMACKDOWN
Curt Hawkins & Trent Barreta (The Dudebusters) to IMPACT

Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov to RAW

Primo & Zack Ryder to IMPACT

The list disappears from the titantron as everybody is ready to move on

Vince McMahon: I'm going to get the ball rolling again immediately so we can wrap tonight up as soon as possible. Each brand will now have ten draft picks to decide the base of their roster, with the rest of the superstars to be drafted via the Supplemental draft after tonight's show. Now Smackdown has the first pick for the singles draft, so, Teddy, off you go.

THIRTY MINUTES LATER!

Some time passes as each brand has now used their singles draft picks to decide which ten superstars will be donning the Red of RAW, Blue of Smackdown or Green of iMPACT

Vince McMahon: And that concludes the final draft of the night. Let's take a look at where the lucky thirty superstars are heading...

A list flashes up onto the titantron

The list disappears from the titantron

Vince McMahon: That's it for the very first edition of Monday Night RAW. Now there will be no iMPACT or Smackdown this week as I feel the superstars do not have adequate time to prepare for their respective shows. Smackdown will remain on Friday nights, as I've mentioned previously, and iMPACT will be shown on Wednesday nights. Make sure you all tune in to Monday Night RAW the same time next week. Thank you and goodnight.

The RWE Universe cheer for a very successful night as McMahon shakes the hands of each General Manager. All four men exit to the back as the broadcast ends

------------------------------------

You may or not be able to tell this, but I pretty much had enough and just wanted to get this show up lol.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

The rosters took me a long time to figure out and order. It was a complicated process that, in the end, worked out very well. It was all done completely randomly, I didn't influence any of the results. Made this the case so I didn't have any plans pre-arranged, so it's all gonna have to come to mind whenever I focus on a show. Gives me more of a challenge :p

I know I have 3 shows, but I don't have any set dates to do them. I'll just do them whenever I want to. Plus the shows will just be basic summaries with the matches, so they really won't be that time consuming in that case. Hope everyone enjoys what I have come up with and what I come up with in the future :)

So I was going to write out shows with the matches as just summaries, but I've decided that I can't be fucked doing that and that the shows will just be results with some details. Basically the announcers aren't that relevant after all, but everybody else should play a part. It may not be as creative, but I really only started this so I can make my own bookings and create my own wrestling fantasies.

Monday Night

raw.gif

The pyros go off as the crowd are excited for the first ever RWE Monday Night RAW!

Out comes the General Manager, Eric Bischoff to a chorus of boos. Bischoff makes his way to the ring and doesn't seem to be bothered by the negative crowd reaction. Bischoff is handed a microphone as he plays it nice to the crowd, who all see through the act. Bischoff gets straight to the point, informing his roster that whatever he says goes and that there will be no interferences from the Chairman or Owner of RWE. Bischoff says that if anybody has a problem with his decisions, bad luck. Bischoff says that it's time to speak about the two singles championships on RAW. The world championship will be known as the RWE Championship and the 2nd tier championship will be known as the RWE Intercontinental Championship. Bischoff has decided that there will be a 16-man tournament to decide who will become the RWE Champion, which will culminate at the first RWE pay-per-view - Unforgiven. At the end of the night, the 16 will be cut down to only 4 through a series of Fatal-Four Way matches. Bischoff has already decided the brackets and all four matches will be tonight.

Before Bischoff can continue, he is interrupted by Captain Charisma, Christian. The crowd cheer as Christian makes his way into the ring. Bischoff asks Christian who he thinks he is coming out here and being so rude to the General Manager, but Christian ignores the question and instead asks Bischoff his own question. Christian wants to know if he is in the 16-man tournament. Bischoff informs Christian that he is, but his match won't be until the very end of the night. Bischoff decides to announce that the main event of the night will be Christian vs. Matt Hardy vs. Michael Tarver vs. The Miz, with the winner advancing to the semi-finals of the tournament. Bischoff tells Christian to get out of his ring so that the tournament can begin with its first match... right now! The crowd cheer as we are taken to an ad break.

----------
AD BREAK
----------

Match #1: RWE Championship Tournament
Randy Orton def. Alex Riley, CM Punk and D'Angelo Dinero via pinfall on Dinero
- After the match: Punk claims that he should receive another opportunity as he didn't lose the match. Alex Riley suddenly slides into the ring and snatches the microphone from Punk, claiming that if anybody deserves another opportunity than it's him as he didn't lose either. The two begin to press their cases, arguing back and forth, before Orton enters the ring and lays both men out with RKOs. The crowd cheer wildly for Orton, who poses over the fallen Punk and Riley.

Eric Bischoff is shown at his desk filling out some paperwork as he suddenly looks up. Somebody has entered his office. It's William Regal. Bischoff and Regal shake hands as Regal asks what Bischoff has in plan for the English Invasion, which consists of Douglas Williams and Magnus. The pyros go off as the crowd are excited for the first ever RWE Wednesday Night iMPACT!

A car crash can be heard in the arena as the iMPACT General Manager, Mick Foley makes his way out from the back to cheers. Foley asks the crowd how they all are tonight, with the response an emphatic one. Before Foley can get another word in, he's immediately interrupted by The Dudebusters, Curt Hawkins & Trent Barreta. As the cocky duo make their way down to the ring, suddenly the crowd begins to cheer as The Dudley Boys run out from the back and attack The Dudebusters. The two teams start to brawl until security runs out from the back and forces them apart. Foley takes the opportunity to announce that he has spoken to Eric Bischoff and Teddy Long and that at Unforgiven; the RWE Tag Team Championships will be on the line. Smackdown's team will be decided in two nights time, RAW's team will be decided next week... but iMPACT's team will be decided right now! The show begins with Triple H's music hitting the arena. The crowd all get up and cheer as the man himself walks out in street clothes and holding a bottle of water. Triple H says that what happened after the match ended was a sign of lack of respect by an inexperienced Skip Sheffield. Sure enough, Sheffield's music hits and he walks out from the back. Sheffield is pissed off as he storms down the ramp. Sheffield enters the ring and gets right into Triple H's face before snatching the microphone. Sheffield says that he doesn't care who Triple H is, as far as he is concerned he was disrespected last week and plans on beating the crap out of a "wash up who should leave his big nose out of his business". Before The Dudebusters can get a word in, Beer Money demand a match between the two teams. The Dudebusters say that they have nothing to prove to Beer Money as they are innocent, so they refuse to compete in a match. Sure enough Bryan lets go and his facial expression says that he believes Saxton.

A familiar face can be seen in the crowd of people as Foley notices it too. It's Sheamus. Foley walks up to the smiling Sheamus. Foley asks if Sheamus has anything to do with this. - After the match: AJ Styles has his hand raised by the referee as he holds the title in the other. Styles turns around to leave the ring but Hardy hits him with a Twist of Fate. When Hardy turns around, he eats a Carbon Footprint from Matt Morgan. The crowd cheer as Morgan stands over Hardy and raises his fist in the air.

Friday Night
smackdown.jpg

Episode #2

The pyros go off as the crowd are excited for RWE Friday Night Smackdown!

Like last week, Teddy Long comes out from the back to kick off Smackdown. Long gets straight to the point and says that the first match of the night we will be crowning the inaugural RWE United States Champion. Long has made a slight tweak to the match due to the warning Abyss gave last week, and the match will now be contested inside a Steel Cage. Long then leaves as we see the cage get lowered.

Match #1: RWE United States Championship (Steel Cage)
Chris Masters def. Jack Swagger
- During the match: While both men were going at it, Abyss made his way towards the ring. Both Masters and Swagger had an eye on Abyss as the big man began to break the chain that held the door locked. Various officials attempt to stop Abyss, but Abyss knocks them all to the ground, before Kofi Kingston comes sprinting down the ramp. Kingston attacks Abyss, getting revenge for last week, but Abyss is too powerful and is able to fight off Kingston. Abyss' attention is back on the door, but suddenly there's a huge boom that comes from stage. Kane emerges from the back looking pissed off, obviously also wanting revenge for what Abyss did last week. Abyss hardly acknowledges Kane walking down the ramp as he continues to break the chain. Kane and Abyss go at it and Kane manages to subdue Abyss so the match can end.
- After the match: Masters walks over to Kane with the United States Championship and thanks Kane for the help, but Kane chokeslams Masters. Kofi Kingston then hits Kane with a Trouble in Paradise, before being placed in the ankle lock by Jack Swagger. When Swagger thinks it's all over, Abyss runs at Swagger and hits him with a Black Hole Slam. Abyss walks over to Masters and picks up the United States Championship, raising it in the air. Abyss then drops it on Masters' face and leaves.

Jeremy Borash is backstage with John Morrison and asks his thoughts on his loss last week. Morrison says he is disappointed in himself for not even being able to come 5th in the match and earn himself a second chance at earning contendership for the World Heavyweight Championship. Morrison says that he needs to improve if he's going to solidify himself as a top contender, before being interrupted by Brodus Clay. Clay says that it should've been him that competed in last week’s Elimination match, not Morrison. Clay claims to be better than Morrison. Morrison asks Clay if he'd like to settle it next week. Clay accepts the challenge.

Match #2 (Ringside: Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel)
James Storm & Robert Roode vs. Curt Hawkins & Trent Barreta ends in a no contest
- During the match: The legal men in Curt Hawkins and James Storm get tangled up and fall to the outside, right in front of Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel. The duo takes the opportunity and begins to stomp Storm and Hawkins, prompting the referee to throw the match.
- After the match: Robert Roode and Trent Barreta come from their respective corners and begin to fight Slater & Gabriel. Slater & Gabriel work as a cohesive unit, where Roode and Barreta do not like each other, so they're able to get the upper hand and head back to RAW in one piece.

Kurt Angle is backstage getting ready for his match when John Cena walks into the locker room. The two men have a short stare down as the crowd go wild for this confrontation. Cena says that Del Rio doesn't deserve to be in the title match at Unforgiven. Cena says it should've been him or Angle in place of Del Rio, so they should both make sure they win tonight. Angle says that he already has the match in the bag and that Cena should be focusing on himself. Angle says that he'll be at Unforgiven, but will Cena? Angle then leaves the locker room.

Match #3: RWE World Heavyweight Championship Qualifier
Kurt Angle def. Cody Rhodes

Jeremy Borash is backstage with Alberto Del Rio. Borash asks Del Rio his thoughts on his victory last week. Del Rio says that it was his destiny to win last week, just like it's his destiny to win the World Heavyweight Championship at Unforgiven. Del Rio claims that there is nobody better than him. Borash then asks for Del Rio's thoughts on Kurt Angle as Angle is one of Del Rio's two opponents at Unforgiven. Del Rio says that he watched Angle in his prime while in Mexico and he's embarrassed to see how far Angle has fallen. Del Rio says that Angle will not provide a challenge at Unforgiven, and neither will Wade Barrett or John Cena.

Match #4
Ezekiel Jackson def. Rob Van Dam

As Cody Rhodes walks back to his locker room, Borash appears and asks Rhodes for some time. Rhodes doesn't feel like sparing much, so Borash needs to be quick. Borash asks for Rhodes' thoughts on losing the chance to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship at Unforgiven. Rhodes says that he just took a multi-time World Champion and Olympic Gold Medallist to the limit, so he is not ashamed of his loss. Rhodes says that he will become a World Champion in the future and that this is just an obstacle preventing the inevitable from happening sooner rather than later.

Match #5
Brian Kendrick def. JTG

Edge's music hits as he makes his way down to the ring. Edge says that he doesn't feel himself tonight after his chance to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship at Unforgiven was taken from him. Edge shows a replay on the titantron of how he was cruelly eliminated by Mr Anderson, who Edge had just eliminated. It then shows Anderson throwing Edge into the barrier before ending. Edge agrees with Anderson, saying that an asshole did win the Elimination match, but Edge says that assholes never finish first. This prompts Anderson to make his way out to the ring, the crowd booing him. Anderson asks Edge how he's doing then takes it back and says he really doesn't care. Anderson says he doesn't care about anybody other than himself and that people would call him selfish. Anderson says he isn't selfish, he's an asshole. Edge says that Anderson is an asshole and that this asshole is going to get what he deserves. Edge drops his microphone and begins to punch Anderson, before DDTing him. Edge then lines up the Spear and hits Anderson with it.

Match #6: Open Challenge
David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd def. David Otunga & Robbie E
- After the match: The little alliance that David Otunga & Robbie E formed last week breaks down as the two argue regarding their loss. Otunga then has enough, hits his finisher on Robbie E and then leaves.

Chris Masters is in his locker room with his newly won United States Championship, still recovering from the match and the aftermath that resulted. Masters grins at the sight of his title, before he catches the reflection of somebody walking into the locker room. It's Kofi Kingston. Kingston walks over all smiles as the two shake hands. Kingston congratulates Masters on becoming United States Champion and wishes him the best of luck. Kingston then says that Masters shouldn't get too complacent because Masters is now his target, and it looks like the target of others as well. Masters says that he has been waiting a long time to become a singles champion again in his career and he feels as if he is prepared for what he'll be faced with. Masters thanks Kingston for the advice. The two hug before Kingston leaves the locker room.

Match #7: RWE World Heavyweight Championship Qualifier
John Cena def. Wade Barrett
- After the match: As John Cena celebrates, Alberto Del Rio enters the ring and attacks Cena. Cena fights back and it looks like he'll be able to fight off Del Rio, but then Wade Barrett gets involved and the advantage swings back in Del Rio's favour. Del Rio locks in his Cross arm breaker as Cena attempts to fight the hold. Del Rio cranks it up when suddenly the crowd cheer like crazy as Kurt Angle runs down to the ring. Del Rio quickly releases the hold and escapes the ring when Angle enters it. Angle stares at Del Rio as Del Rio circles the ring and begins to walk up the ramp. Del Rio points at Angle and grins as Angle continues to stare at him. Teddy Long then appears on the ramp and makes a match for next week. It will be John Cena & Kurt Angle vs. Alberto Del Rio & Wade Barrett. The show ends there.
