Pulling For Jones big time but I just can't see him pulling this off Shogun just has way more big fight experience.

WOW, Rua looked out on his feet against the cage after that knee. I thought it might've ended in the 1st.

Jones dominated that round, and he had Shogun hurt big time, after those knees and punches when he had him against the cage, and should of went in for the kill then.

All those short elbows to the ribs...it's like Jones is a little worried about getting caught on the ground, so he's not really unleashing. That'll do plenty to kill Rua's wind though.

Rua is done, he's got no offense in this fight, and Jones is just doing what he wants, pulls he's gassed right now, gonna take something drastic to change the outcome of this fight.

Jones ends it in the 3rd.

WAR BONES

Made Rua look like shit in that match, can't wait to see the fight metric report from this fight, as it didn't look like Shogun landed anything for strikes.

Jones is a beast but that was piss poor from Shogun. Yeah he's just come off a big injury layoff but he looked gassed in the 1st. completely unacceptable. Still, picked it right, BONES JONES BABY.

Dunno why the fuck Shogun wasn't throwing any leg kicks...

In summary - Jim Miller and Edson Barbosa are fucking beasts, feel a bit bad for Cro Cop and Nate v Miller bored me to sleep.

We all know that Jones shouldn't have had this fight.... Destiny has placed him in front of Shogun but let's be honest just because he doesn't deserve the fight, doesn't mean he isn't ...ready for it.

Jones is a very capable fighter who is a legitimate threat to Shogun. Chances are I have already said this but I will say it again.

Jones is a fighter that you can't emulate in training. He is an unorthodox striker that is effective, 84.5 reach...... Yes I said that an 84.5 inch reach. Yes Shogun has more fights over bigger name. But people are too willing to forget that over the past 4 years Shogun has only fought 5 times..... So using his experience is a useless point, one of those he lost by submission as the virtually unbackable (predicted) winner against Forrest Griffin, one he lost to Lyoto Machida his only good win in the UFC was a KO over Lyoto with his 2 other "wins" against over the hill fighters in Mark Coleman and Chuck Liddell.

I see this as a perfect storyline for an "upset", which is why I believe that Jon Jones can beat Rua and convincingly.

Jones by TKO third round.

I'd like to think I predicted this fight rather accurately. Jones is a monster who showed how drastic he improves every single fight. He put out a lot of offense and didnt slow down. He has some good cardio for sure. I just thing that the knee injury was more effective than Shogun was willing to admit especially with his inability to throw kicks with the nirmal venom and actually barely used hiss best weapons.

I think he sits back and just trains like normal and come back injury free. The next opponent for Rua is going to have his work cut out for him.
