Divas battle royal to include former WWE Diva

Tammy 'Sunny' Sytch says on her Facebook page that she is ready to "kick some DIVA ASS at Wrestlemania!!"

Sytch also recently indicated on her Facebook that she was starting to train for "something very important" in the next 30 days. In a follow-up to Sytch's post, we can confirm the validity of her statement as the company does indeed have plans to use her in the 25 Diva Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXV.

Sytch last appeared in a WWE ring on December 10, 2007 at the 15th Anniversary Raw show in a segment with Vince, Stephanie and Shane McMahon. Following the appearance, the WWE website ran a Confidential-style video on Sytch with the former Diva saying it was her dream to return to World Wrestling Entertainment. Reportedly, the company gave some thought to bringing her back full-time as she met WWE's Senior Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis backstage at the 15th Anniversary Raw show and handed him her information and most recent photos. However, as the months wore on, Sytch did not reappear in WWE, so it would appear that they weren't interested in bringing her back as a full-fledged Diva.

I wouldn't want this on the actual show. If its one of those free for alls or a dark match to be included on the DVD, then I'm fine with it.

A 25 Diva battle royal would take time away from the matches I actually want to see.

I always get a kick out of when theres more than one of them going at it at the same time.
One will be kicking or punching another, but she won't notice it...so she won't sell. Then all of a sudden she'll notice and start selling like crazy. hahahahaha

I wouldn't mind seeing highlights of the match up but is should be the dark match before wm25 or something. Or if it is on the show make it quick and give us some puppies lol.

I'm assuming it'll be the same set up as per the ECW title last year.... Winner get's the title shot later in the evening.



As for Sunny.... Can't recall her ever getting physical during her previous WWE run... I assume after all her years in the biz that she can work to SOME degree?

^^^ I read an article saying they are trying to get some old divas to come back as well to reach the 25 mark. They're doing it for the 25th Anneversary of course. With that being said....

Man I hope this will be a dark match. But if they are trying to get a bunch of old divas to come back, I don't think they'd have it as a dark match. That's if the report I read was true.

^ Yeah, if we are getting all these past divas to participate then I dark they are going to waste them on a dark match, even though it would be the better idea. Also, the idea of the winner getting a title shot later in the night would be a good idea as well tbh.

Its like 20 at the most. I'm guessing they would try to bring in some combo of Sunny, Trish, Lita, Mae Young, Victoria, Torrie, Ivory, and Molly Holly to round things out.
