-- Former WWE stars The Highlanders -- Rory and Robbie -- recently spoke with Slam Wrestling about several topics including Vince McMahon’s apparent dislike for tag teams. “Vince McMahon doesn’t really like tag team wrestling. That’s the understanding we kept hearing from producers and agents and stuff like that,†said Robbie. “So, right off the gun, you have a blackball against you, if you’re trying to become a star in WWE.“

On the subject of TNA, Rory expressed interest in joining the company, saying “We have spoken, yeah, on quite a few occasions and we’ll continue to talk. If something happens, it happens and if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. I’ve had some good conversations with them. I’d love to work for TNA. Half the guys I know in the business work there for Christsakes. There’s a whole bunch of guys down there that I’m friends with. I’d love to work there.â€

They'll probably end up in TNA.

I smell BS. I doubt agents go around telling talent that Vince doesn't like tag team wrestling. I just don't see that happening

Does anyone really care? Really? The Highlanders? Come on now - if they go to TNA they'll be taking up space like they were in the E. No use for them with their corny ass gimmick. Maybe if they changed up their characters they could even come back to the E in a year or two or make a fresh start in TNA but being the Highlanders is not going to get them anywhere.

Well, the story isn't really BS. They legitimately said that in an interview... If you mean the Highlanders are lying, I doubt that too. Agents tell stuff like that all the time. Most likely, they would've been unhappy with the way they were being used, and asked why they weren't being put on TV, and it's the agents job to pass along the reasons such as what they need to work on, what wwe is unhappy with, what wwe doesn't like, etc.
