Did Kozlov really just beat the F'n Undertaker CLEAN, 1...2....3 from a power slam?? Was my TV Broken? Did they restart the match and i didnt know about it?

Yup, it really happened. When the match ended on a power slam, I felt as if I was watching a wrestling match from the 40's or 50's.

Sid wanted to "restart the business" and have a match end with a powerslam around 2001 or 2. I would have worked the way he explained it but everyone else would have to stop kicking out out of finishers and shit. My point is, it COULD have worked had we not seen more bump filled matches beforehand where guys kicked out of more devastating moves.

That's called "the veterans doing their jobs and putting over the up and coming stars of tomorrow." Take notes, Triple H, before you put on another worst match of the year.

That said, they really should have saved this clean win for next week or further. Kozlov still has to go through Michaels, and if Michaels ends up going to face Undertaker at WM25, it doesn't make much sense. It's like "well, we've already established that Kozlov could end the streak anytime he wants, so let's instead give a shot to other people." Imo they pretty much have to have Kozlov/Undertaker at WM25 now, which takes a lot of the fun out of the next few weeks.

I think that's exactly what they were aiming:

Establish the fact that Vladimir can defeat The Undertaker and end the streak, but he won't be one facing Taker at Mania. That gives Kozlov something to brag about instead of his stained undefeated streak.


Besides, HBK vs Taker is at Mania, Taker needs something to bounce back on Smackdown, and a feud with Kozlov steeming from this and NWO can do the trick

Kozlov always botches that snake eyes in the corner always the idiot. He looked greener than the hulk in some spots in the match up. But the match wasn't to bad. Strange finish mind you, but taker getting beaten by a head butt would have looked worse.

HBK will beat Vladmir, so it seems that he could beat Taker as well.

Which is awesome as it gives him credibility in what would otherwise be a sure win for Undertaker.

There's no way I can do this justice, but that's... WRONG! WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG!!

That promo was powerful. Matt was playing the jealous, pissed off brother, not wanting to kill Jeff but wanting to prove that he can beat him. Jeff, meanwhile, loves his brother too much to fight him and would rather take the slaps and walk away than hurt his own flesh and blood. It's true that Matt didn't put on a face like he's trying to shit out a watermelon in an attempt to look angry like Triple H did two weeks ago, but this isn't that kind of feud.

And Big Show going over John Cena. I can understand you want to push Big Show, but at John Cena's expense.

I guess i don't see the logic at the two top guys in the WWE losing matches before WM, to wrestlers, who you could argue don't deserve to be on WM at this point. I can understand the Cena/Big Show thing as much as i don't like it. But Kozlov over Taker cleanly, is just silly.

I know WM is about 4 weeks away, but i'm still feeling the vibe with not one official match announced with its complete competitors.

I totally believe in Koslov vs Taker at WM. I like Koslov, but I dont think he'll be allowed the privilege of being the 1st man to defeat Undertaker.

Maybe it's just cause I'm a Hardy mark (sorry, can't help it), but I really liked that promo. Yeah, Jeff's still not that great on the mic, but I thought he held his own alright in his part, and I really liked Matt's part. It laid out his reasons for attacking Jeff perfect.

Also, the freaking bitch slap was awesomeness.

Also, is it just me or when Taker started his promo, before some badly overdubbed crowd noise 'masked it', were the majority of the crowd chanting "HBK"?

...Seems like there's a little of 'Big Evil' coming out too, what with all Takers talk of respect and such.
