The lawsuit against WWE brought on by Raven, Chris Kanyon, and Mike Sanders was dismissed today, reports The Stanford Advocate. The lawsuit regarded WWE's classification of their talent as "Independent Contractors". The three felt that they should be listed as employees given the stipulations and restrictions set forth on them by World Wrestling Entertainment.
WWE asked for a dismissal of the case months ago and it was granted by Senior U.S. District Judge Peter Dorsey on Monday and officially released on Tuesday. The wrestlers' lawyer says that they plan on pursuing further after they consider their options. They have the option of asking the judge to reconsider or file an appeal.
