ONS/Extreme Rules PPV Name Change

WWE's "One Night Stand" pay per view, set for June 7th, 2009, has received yet another name change due to WWE's new PG rating. It was originally changed to "Extreme Rules" a few weeks back, but PWInsider.com is reporting that they have changed it again and it will now be called "Night of Extreme".

lol, everything WWE does is "becuase they're trying to be more PG". Can someone tell me how "Night of Extreme" is more child-friendly then "Extreme Rules"? I guess everyone should jump on the "WWE's changing this becuase they're turning PG" bandwagon

I really can't see how WWE being PG has anything to do with THAT title change. You could made a case for the One Night Stand name change, but not this one.

I think the name is stupid, but that news site is Blue. Ya, the name change is awful, but it has nothing to do with them going PG. Night Of Extreme isn't any more kid friendly than Extreme Rules.
News sites should stop blaming everything on the PG thing, when this clearly has nothing to do with that.

Why "extreme rules" matches in the first place, if we are turning to PG wrestling? Follow through, Vince.

Creativity = 0. As has been said, we've already got a "Night Of ..." PPV already.
