What'd you guys think of this?
I was pretty dissapointed. Not as much that Miz isn't in it, cause I wish he'd drop dead (kayfabe and non kayfabe)... I thought Morrison may even win MITB, but more realistically, at least be in there to put on a good match. I'm glad Punk is in and all, but I would've preffered Morrison and Punk to be in there. It would've made the MITB match even better.
Anyone else dissapointed Morrison, and to a lesser extent, Miz, won't be in the MITB this year?

I was dissapointed to some degree.

When I saw the triple threat match advertised I knew Punk was going to win to be honest, which, likewise, I'm totally fine with. But I thought Morrison could have been a serious contender in the match, so It's kind of a shame.

Mind you, I'd love a tag-team Unification title match at WrestleMania, Mizzorrison vs. The Colons, I feel these two teams could put on one hell of a contest at the big show.

I think it was a bit of a silly maneuver by the booking team backstage but I understand why they did it. I see Miz and Morrison having themselves a tag team title match at the PPV instead.

Miz and Morrison like Mc rae said will probably fight at wm25. And it will probably be for the tag titles unification and it could steal the show. Punk being in it again with ci title is silly but he might lose it before wm25 or for the 7 Th year running it wont be defended.

I think it sucks more that CM Punk is gonna be in it as the IC champ. That title needs to be given more respect and this is not helping it at all. I still have hope that they'll do a little battle royal for all the people that lost they're qualifying matches and Morrison will win that to get in it. If not then the tag unification match should be pretty good considering the participants.

I think that the WWE missed the boat in not having them in the Money in the Bank match. Really every year, the match is just one big spot fest, and like any other spot fest, it is almost impossible to guarantee an enjoyable match. Putting both of them in it would have added another element to the match with two heels teaming up the entire way through, and possibly forcing other people to make small alliances throughout the match. It could have been a fun subplot within the match.

And I REALLY don't like CM Punk being in this match again. He could put on a classic Intercontinental Title match against several people. Punk/Regal, Punk/Mysterio, Punk/Jericho, Punk/Rhodes, Punk/DiBiase, Punk/Bourne. Any of those could have been really memorable 20-30 minute matches that would have been a perfect under card standout match.

^^^Yeah, but that would make the Intercontinental title look important, and we can't possibly have that.

Morrison always puts on a good show so it's a shame he may not be in it, however do we really not want both the IC title and the Tag team titles to be defended at the biggest show of the year? I personally think ALL the titles should be on the line at WM at the exception of some story line maybe.

Even if the IC belt was defended at Mania, it wouldn't be given 20 or 30 minutes. The only person who gets over 20 minutes to work with at Mania is HBK. The world title matches rarely go 20 mins anymore.

Sure, I wanted Morrison in MITB too. But him working a tag match is actually more important than the MITB unless he was booked to win it. Lets face it, the MITB is for the wrestlers that the WWE has nothing for at the moment, with the exception of the person booked to win. Morrison and Miz will get their own match at Mania that won't be overshadowed by the MITB gimmick. I look at it as a reward for all the hard work they have put in over the last year.

The Money In The Bank match should be for those that don't have titles like Kofi, Mysterio, Jericho, Regal, etc.

I never understood why they did. I was expecting a very good Regal vs. Punk match, and Shelton vs. MVP at WrestleMania XXV. Shelton vs. MVP can still happen.

Miz and Morrison will be in a Tag Title Unification match. If WWE is smart, they'll televise that match. We need more mid-card title matches at WrestleMania.

Money In The Bank is designed for industrious talent to showcase their talents on the grandest stage - give these guys a chance to prove they have a future in the WWE, or so I thought.

CM Punk has won MiTB, and subsequently the World Heavyweight Championship, World Tag Team Championship and Intercontinental Championship. Why does he need to qualify? To carry inexperienced wrestlers through major spots in the match?

Since the Intercontinental Championship has received plenty of exposure, a challenger's tournament, the DVD release etc, I would have thought a title match at Wrestlemania would be the pièce de résistance of the title's promotion!

This doesn't exactly mean MnM 2.0 are unable to qualify for MiTB (?) so we'll wait and see.

Personally, if the Intercontinental Championship is being shafted for Wrestlemania, tag-teaming will never get a look in!

Maybe Punk will lose the IC Title before WrestleMania?

Wishful thinking, I know.

I'm actually looking forward to MITB now.

With the way I'm seeing it, it's not going to be here's 30 minutes and 8 of you make sure everyone does their spot.

Might actually be a technical innovate wrestling match. Can't tell me the TLC matches were all spots and that paved the way for MITB. Yes they HAD spots but it was spots inbetween spectacular tag team wrestling or w/e. Not spots upon spots.

Morrison= one big spot. Yeah his moonsault with a ladder was cool but thats all he can do.
