The Figure Four Newsletter is reporting that WWE finally made the decision to fire Smackdown talent Scotty Goldman after he botched a spot in a match with Umaga at a recent TV taping. In addition to this, it's being reported that Goldman did not fit the look that WWE wants right now, and is in general not the type of talent that WWE generally looks for in terms of TV stars.

Source - FFN I guess.

Which totally explains why they hired him in the first place.

I find their reasoning bizarre considering the success of the Santino character.

I thought Cabanna was gonna be ideal for todays WWE.

I believe the fact that he botched a move, I guess, but the other part, as BKB said, doesn't seem right.
Oh well, what to expect, I guess.
Too bad though, I was hoping he would be here longer.

That's exactly what i was thinking. When Santino first got here, he was SHIT in the ring, worse than Goldman could ever be. So they cahnged his gimmick to suit that. Why didn't they just give Cabana a clumsy fat guy gimmick.....it was obviosu they wanted him for the comedy anyway.

So does this mean that Mike Knox is getting fired too?

I mean, he botched in his match with Noble on RAW, to the point where Jamie had to be taken out on a stretcher.

Big men never get punished. Only by going on next week to lose to cena that's about it.

Goldman had the look, but he's too Jewish for WWE's liking.

What look is it that they're looking for? Steroids on Raw and pudgy, gross, doughy bodied big men on Smackdown?
