What the difference between Gold and Silver. I am wondering weather or not I should buy Gold, or just go with the free Silver. Help?

With Silver you can't play online. That is the main thing

You can have a friends list with both and chat and all that but you can't play games.

I also think you can't download as much from the marketplace.

and I guess it goes without saying but with Gold you can do everything. You can with Silver and add on playing games online and having more to download.

But if you not used it yet I think all 360's come with one free month of gold.
