I love the Misfits. But to suggest they're the best pump band ever is a stretch. In terms of impact on music, and culture, many bands had more, and in terms of actual music, quite a few bands accomplished more, and sang more about punk things than the misfits.
But ya, they're pretty damn amazing.

Do you like their older, original stuff better, or their later stuff?

I like basically all of it. I just downloaded their discography and I have to check out even more of their songs that I didnt know existed.

I do like the Danzig voice. I miss that in the songs.

P.S. - In your avatar a few months back, was it Rancid?

^Ya, it was. I have them for my MSN avatar as well,
Oh, and I forgot to mention this in my first post, but this is actually pretty strange, cause right before you made this thread, earlier in the day yesterday I had been listening to the Misfits, and my brother was playing them on his guitar. Strange.

Done.

My favorite song (as apparently is the topic creator) is Astro Zombies, followed by Skulls. It's weird though that I like Michale Graves better than Danzig, but I like the older songs better. If only they re-recorded them with Graves.....lol.

But yeah, my myspace is all Misfits-ed out. I have a Giant Misfits sticker on my laptop underneath the keyboard. I have about 8 or 9 shirts. All albums. The box set. The magnets on my fridge are Misfits. I bought a thing for my phone last week that I literally just put on before reading this thread (they have them for game consoles and laptops as well, but I don't have the money to get them yet). I have a tattoo of a green fiend skull with a black star behind it. My wallet is black an green with a Misfits theme. I used to have some posters, but when my GF started staying with me a lot, she made me take them down because she was afraid of them. I've seen them live 3 times (my first show was in 02, so I unfortunately missed Graves). They made me like Vampiro, lol. Yeah...I'm a pretty big fan.

Thanks. He was a terrible wrestler. My brother dressed in a Devillock for Halloween and then played Project 50's, which I cant get enough of.

By the way, it is not stickied.

I unsticked it as well. We don't need a sticky for everyone's favorite bands.

Yeah, Chuck, you have to realize, you are ABOVE the law. It is your favorite band, and it is your favorite thread. Sticky it. Cave in to peer pressure.

favorite song is "Where Eagles Dare"

I love the Misfits, but I haven't really listened to them in a while. Danzig's voice is what made the band. Without him, they wouldn't really be as influential as they are.
