Matt Hardy has posted another in-character blog on his WWE Universe account, this time taking a small shot at "internet journalists" and those who initially thought Christian would be the person behind the Jeff Hardy attacks. Hardy writes, "Speaking of Christian, we have a very long and storied history together. Christian was a recipient of my star-making abilities back in the first ever tag team ladder match. Christian was also smart not to stick his nose into my business with Jeff. I could see how he would be tempted to upon resigning with the WWE, but fortunately he was smarter than that. It's also funny how alot (sic) of the "internet journalist" and "internet fans" thought Christian might be somehow associated with me and my master plan. Nope. Never has been. There's never been any changes in my plans, there's never been a "B" plan, and Christian hasn't ever been factored in at any time." To me, this reads as WWE trying to sending an "I told you so" message to the internet wrestling community by suggesting that Christian was never intended to be involved in the Hardy storyline, however, it has been reported many times that WWE did in fact at one time have Christian in mind for the role, however they changed their plans when the angle leaked online.

Very very interesting. So Mike was right about them thinking about it but changing their Christian' plans due to leak over internet.

Translation:As far as Christian going to ECW is concerned... WWE did it for the lulz.

Or it could just be they are pissed at Christian for leaving in the first place to go to TNA.

Bottom line...Vince was never very high on Christian.
He went to TNA..thought it would be better, was for a while...now that ship is sinking and he wisely jumped off for a fatter paycheck with WWE.
I think we all read into this way too much. We inflated Christian way above what they had intentions for.

Basically. It was planned for Christian to do something with the Hardys and Edge, but they rather paired the Hardys together so Matt can keep an eye on Jeff leading into Mania so he doesn't fuck up like last year missing Mania. Matt is playing the big brother role and as far as Christian goes, they wanted to use him, but didn't see any sort of opening so they threw him on ECW, basically for fun.

Christian to ecw isn't a huge deal. He wa sprobably told to do it because of the whole leak thing, and that they are doing a draft after WM anyways, so he can go to one of the big brands then.

Wait.. Then we should use REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY!!

Think about it. News sites start leaking a report that Cena will retain at NWO, so the WWE will give the title to Knox in order to swerve the news sites.

Its brilliant!

lol.. if they give the title to Knox for real, and not like as a joke (which I know 100% they won't) but if some reason they did that... the whole business would crumble, and we'd all be laughing at how ingenious it must've been to put that together lol

from reading this it APPEARS that you quoted 2 different things or got it from somewhere other than the official source - it cuts off as Matts 'promo' where the bold ends and then a random guy (ie: you or me or whoever) wrote the rest. no way that Matt or the E would make themselves seem stupid in a character blog, no sense at all. No where does Matt's character say it was the E's idea to use christian at first so i don't get why everyone is saying that just because we, the IWC said it was possible does not make it so.

It says that they were never going down that path anyways, so how could they "change" plans when there was none to be changed in the first place?

Matt Hardy says Christian was never part of the plan. His blog was even in character.

The last part was the comment from another guy.

Or they put Christian on ECW to give the show some star power, and to really let Christian shine.
