Evil Austin

Well I just realised something.

Exactly ten years ago this Sunday the Big Show made his official debut in the WWF.

Now it feels like it was a lot more then ten years but he came during the Austin / Mcmahon match at the Valentines day Massacure PPV this week ten years ago and interupted that very Steel Cage match between Austin and McMahon. He came in from under the ring and costed Austin the match.

Now over these ten years he has accomplished a lot and possibly the most for anyone his size in ten years.

- Headlined Wrestle Mania
- Multiple time WWE Champion
- Has feuded and beaten the likes of Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, Eddie Guerrero, Mankind, Chris Benoit, Triple H, Undertaker, The Rock and Austin.
- Held nearly every title there is to hold in the WWE
- Has headlined every big 4 PPV respectively
- Has dressed as Hulk Hogan at Backlash 2000 to defeat Kurt Angle
- Has held the WCW and ECW titles.
- Was the first man to hold the WWE ECW and WCW titles
- Held the tag team titles on various occasions and one being with Kane for almost a year.

And probably more accomplishments but I really am having a mental blank as I post this. So if you think of some pos them

So give comments on the Big Show and do you think he has had a good decade here on the WWE?

I think Big Show, for who he is, has made an impact on the WWE. He has the track record to prove it. He's pretty popular, won championships, feuded with Money Mayweather for publicity... feuded with nearly every other great superstar in the WWE, and has been a dominant force. He deserves a lot of credit and recognition

but he's not recognized as the man who won the 3 world titles, because this ECW is not an official one. there are just the WWE, WHC , TNA and NWA

I do believe they are referring to the 3 major title in WWE.

Stone Cold won the match.

That's all I have to say, anything else I have already said it on the last Big Show thread created not so long ago

A) It's just cost.
B) He cost McMahon the match, as Austin won.

It's the ECW World Championship, it's considered an official world title. Just because the prestige level of it is lower than the rest doesn't make it not count. At the time they were trying to play off of the idea that ECW was still a different brand. Just curious now, but do all the past ECW title reigns not count to you too?

it's just an "official" thing from pro wrestling illustrated, the bible of wrestling, who doesn't recognize this ECW title version

here is the quote from wikipedia :

Pro Wrestling Illustrated has granted world title status to the following promotions: National Wrestling Alliance, World Wrestling Entertainment (and its previous names), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, American Wrestling Association (now defunct, and not to be confused with post-1991 versions of the AWA, though PWI considers their championships to be a single title), Extreme Championship Wrestling (now defunct and not to be confused with the WWE version of ECW even though their championships are the same), World Championship Wrestling (now defunct). PWI currently recognizes two of the world championships in the WWE and differentiates them as the WWE RAW World Championship (currently the World Heavyweight Championship), the WWE SmackDown! World Championship (currently the WWE Championship). Also the NWA Championship is currently only given world title status from 1948 to 1991 and again from 2002 to 2007 and the ECW Championship from 1999 to 2001.

I can't agree with that, but anyway it's your opinion. So if i get it, for exemple, CM Punk is already a 4 time world champion ? ( ECW, WHC, OVW, ROH? )
edit : or bret hart a 13time world champion ?

Besides, as far as I'm concern, for a title to be called "World Title", it just needs to be defended on another country, and the ECW Championship has.

OVW and ROH's aren't billed as "World Championships"

I've never been a huge Show fan. IDK why, I just could never get into him, whether he is heel or face.
However, you can't take his success away. He has been pretty damn succesful, and worked hard, and is a very solid upper mid card guy, who can main event from time to time.
Like I said, not one of my fvaourites, but a solid talent, and a guyw ho made an impact, no doubt.

Second best big man in wrestling behind Undertaker (Kevin Nash is third IMO). Big Show has paid his dues since WCW days; I never realized how young Show was, he's got a good 5 more years in him. Some of feuds have been hit and miss but he's always entertaning. He should grow back his hair though, the bald look doesn't work for him.

He is bald...that's why he doesn't grow his hair back. We don't need another HBK running around.
