A fan in attendance at the RAW/ECW show in British Columbia over the weekend sent word about another fan incident involving Randy Orton. Reader Rory says that a fan was throwing popcorn at Orton until Orton got pissed off and got in the guys face for another intense moment. Security eventually made their way over and broke things up.

Seriously, when you start thinking that because you paid ticket you have the right to "attack" a man that in the outside would easily kick your ass (Jericho FTW) there's something wrong with you.

Orton's always the victim in incidents that involves fans at house shows. A couple weeks ago, I read that at least in a week there were two different times at different show that involved Orton getting pissed at some fans and going face to face.

And these are the sort of fans that give other fans a bad name.

The ring and the arena is a place of work for the wrestlers, the fans need to learn that they are not sitting at home where they can throw popcorn at the tv screen if they don't like something. (which by the way who the fuck does that?)

But yeah. Oh and these guys like Orton adn Jericho can sue Vince for a hefty ammount of money legaly. For having an unsafe work enviornment for them.

They're also the sort of fans that give WRESTLERS a bad name...

What's been said about this being their place of work, is completely spot on! People need to respect that, and need to have their limits. Physical taunting is just not on, and I think we will see WWE cracking down on this very soon after the Jericho incident. I mean seriously - how the fuck was the girl even allowed on the car for fucks sake...

Ha, Orton is always the target of this shit.
Fans need to sit down, and shut up. It's great to get involved cheering or whatever, but just don't cross the line. Sure, it's against the rules, but more importantly, you look like an asshole.

Further proof that Orton is the best heel in the business. Not a month goes by when you don't hear of an incident involving Orton at a house show. Orton heels it up beyond belief at house shows. He does stuff that just wouldn't cut it on live TV.

A lot of the times, Orton will bait the fans into throwing stuff at him or getting in verbal altercations. I have no problem with this just so long as there is no physical retaliation. I don't consider throwing popcorn at someone physical abuse. This is exactly why house shows are 100 times better than live shows. The heels are actually allowed to be heels. The shows are much better when the crowd literally hates the bad guys and wants to see them get the shit kicked out of them.

The thing is, I doubt the guy was throwing popcorn at Randy Orton because "he's such a good heel" or "he wants Randy to get his ass kicked".

I think it's more of the fan trying to act badass and Randy Orton just being the wrestler there.

Probably some drunk asshole taking it a little too far. I read something about Orton shoving the guard rail into a fan a few weeks ago too.
Ya know, the day one of these assholes get hit it's going to be completely their fault, but we're gonna see a wrestler fined and suspended. And honestly...would you fuck with a guy who looked like Orton? He's like 98 percent lean muscle.
I was really expecting something to go down at the Rumble last year with that tiny ass entry way and fans practically on top of the wrestlers.

Well, if people actually try to piss off Batista and they get on his face, it isn't too far fetched they do the same with Orton

lol. I suppose they're counting on the middle aged flabby Event Security Staff to hold back a 265 pound mass of muscle. Or salivating over the lawsuit check...one or the other.

The fact that we get weekly reports of fans throwing stuff specifically at Orton does prove that he is a good heel.

This isn't an isolated occurrence. Orton gets into altercations with fans all the time.

Fans don't throw stuff at John Cena or Hulkamania Hulk Hogan. They throw stuff when HBK screws Bret and Hogan turns heel. Just like they throw popcorm at some arrogant psychopath who thinks his shit doesnt stick.

This is pretty much based on the references to no fan interaction on the shows, not the actual incident, but I think when fans throw stuff at the ring, it adds something to the show. Like say when legacy does a beatdown of Cena in the near future, the fans throwing things at the ring (drinks, snacks, etc.) makes the act seem THAT much more appalling. If I was a heel wrestler, I'd encourage fans to throw stuff at me.

Not with throwing stuff at them... If you allowed to, then the fans could throw anything at them.. (i.e. It would be like i went into your work and started throwing shit at you.. why do i have the right to do that?)

You don't know randy orton could get a bad itch reaction from pop corn.. (my dad isn't allowed to eat or touch horny as it swells his thorat)

With lawsuits these days.. WWE do not want to be in, it's all about the work place health and Safety that every industry has...

You have paid money to watch the show and cheer and jeer for whomever you want.. You are not there to start throwing stuff at people inwhich interferes with the program...

Just watch, something will probably go down again tonight . Orton should've kicked that drunk's ass though.

Hey it could be alot worse, we could be in the 60's and 70's where heels got stabbed and killed in back alleys.
