Why? Just.. Why?

I don't see why your acting all shocked. Even though you hate Lil' Wayne, you can't take away the fact that 2008 was his year. The man had three #1 singles (Lollipop, Got Money, & Millie) on the Billboard charts. One of the song was the #1 songs of 2008 (Lollipop). And to top it all off, Tha Carter III sold a million copies in the first week. So he deserve the four Grammys that he won. And I'm not one of the Lil' Wayne dickriders, but you got to give the man some credit.

I don't think he'll ever win a grammy (Lupe). Not album of the year aleast. There's a lot of people that don't like his style. He doesn't get the recognition that he diserves. And with Wayne, as much as I don't like him, I knew he'd win that.

Lupe needs a commercial success like Weezy did. For him to do that, he has to put out back to back hits. Plus knowing how music today is, it's all about popularity instead of quality.

And FYI, Wayne didn't win Album of the Year but he was nominated. Robert Plant & Alison Krauss won that award (Whoever the hell they are).

That was the worst song I've ever heard in my life.

Oh, and Dre, how can you not know who Robert Plant is? Shame.

I know that. I was talking about the catergory he was in. Not album of the year as a whole.

Thatw as the worst song I've ever heard in my life.

Its a better song then something that someone writes for someone else and it doesn't mean shit to them.

All Taylor's songs mean something cause its something that is true to her.

She writes or co-writes all her songs and they all are about her life in someway. Not just some crap someone writes gives to someone they sing and it has no meaning to them.

I'll take a song that means something to the singer then a song someone just sings to make money.

I hate songs that are pre written as well dude. People liek Britney Spears have songs written for them, and they buy them, and then record them, therefore meaning nothing.
Those suck.
But even if Taylor Swift wrote that song herself, I still don't like it. It was pretty awful to me, but that's just my opinion.

well yeah its cause you hate country. Which can be understood. I mean I hate rap so I say rap songs suck but to fans it don't. But yeah my favorite songs are the ones with meaning to the people even if I don't like the music. At least there not just singing songs with no meaning..
