The Wrestling Observer is reporting that despite ticket sales being strong for WWE's Fan Axxess weekend and the Hall of Fame ceremony, the Wrestlemania 25 PPV itself is no where near sold out. Ticket sales are modest at this point, with WWE bringing in about a $5 million dollar advance gate, however there are still plenty of tickets left for the big show. Interestingly, it appears that the Hall of Fame ceremony will indeed surpass last year's ceremony in terms of ticket sales. At this point, the only confirmed inductions are Stone Cold, Ricky Steamboat and "Cowboy" Bill Watts. That has to be considered impressive, and shows that Stone Cold is still a very big draw in this business.

About a month ago the report was of how tickets were selling low for the HOF.

Now that the HOF has sold out, the report is that WM tickets are selling slow

^The reason for the increase in HOF sales is because SCSA was recently announce, which, obviously got more interest.
People aren't going to by tickets for the most part when they don't know who'll be at the event.

I think the report or a report CMS is talking about was after Austin was annouced as being inducted. I read it too. Don't remember what sites I saw it on but the reports I read said something like "The ticket sales for the HOF are reletivly low even though the main superstar (they didn't use that phrase but it was something professional) Steve Austin is being inducted" Those aren't the exact words but it was somewhere along those lines.

Yeah, that's the report.

Remember that the tickets went on sale after Austin was announced.

I find these reports rather dumb. It's really hard that an entire arena will sell so fast. You just don't sell over 80000 in a month.

These reports are sort of a way of the reporters expecting failure from Wrestlemania. Last year, we had abouy 5 reports of how WM24 was not selling and surprise, it was a damn sell out.

We have another 2 months before wm25 so if they aint sold out yet so what? They have 60 odd days to fill it and that's easy lol. I might get a ticket haha.

Do you not think this may have something to do with WWE advertising people then rumours stating they wont be there?

Maybe it has to do with people not wanting to see the same 4 guys (HHH, Orton, Edge and Cena) in title matches yet again.

Wait. That makes sense, so that can't possibly be it.

Didn't WM 24 sell out in less then an hour people waiting in the ticket booth over night for a buy. Or was that not true?

^ Oh and Monkey, he is talking about Christian. And a possible appearance of the "Wrestler"

Regardless of how many tickets sell they will
will issue freebie's to pad the crowd so it looks
good on tv. It's the old carnie rube theory I give out a free ticket
you buy a Rey Mysterio mask or a Cena foam hand
I still make money and you still look like a dick.

Thanks for clearing that up, Ninja*Star!

Also, Mickey Rourke, in my opinion isnt really a big draw! What fanbase has he really got? Whereas last year with Mayweather, you had a crossover from the boxing community!

^^^So you don't acknowledge the fact that movie stars have fans too?

You know that nobody besides the smarks has a problem with that.

How is it that you hear thing nobody else does? No, it isnt true.

WM25 will most likely be a sell out, that's all I have to say about this report
