Even though it will not happen and I would be totally shocked it if did, I would love to see a bonus match at Wrestlemania that was a total surprise match with Sting vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin. If either man could give it one more all they got match, that would be a for sure seller for WM25 and a great end to both mens career.

Ok, now back to the thread... :bye2:

Sting should retire, I've been thinking it for a long time now. Fuck the MEM/FL storyline that's fucked beyond recognition. Have Sting/AJ with Sting's career on the line for the title but not at BFG because Sting never loses there. >_>

His matches, I find boring on iMPACT! but on PPV they're half decent mainly because he's got someone to carry him. Retire imo.

Sting was always a favorite of mine as a kid. I fondly remember dawning the black n white face paint for halloween one year...lol.
He's definately had some great matches over his career and has become a legend in his own right.

What to me is so impressive about Sting is that he's done what so few other guys have been able to do since the 80's. He's made a name for himself without ever having to step foot in the WWF/E. I'll be honest, I was always a casual wrestling fan through my childhood. However, Sting's crow gimmick in WCW is what really turned me into a junkie.

Sting has explained his reasons of loyalty to his friends and reasons for not going to WCW. He's cited their disrespect of Booker T and the burying of WCW during the Invasion story line. I can respect the guy for not compromising his creative integrity by going doing something he didn't want. However, I'm not sure TNA would is the right stage for him to be wrapping up his career.

I seriously think had Sting gone to WWE he would have had an amazing run. He's head and shoulders more valuable than mostly every aquistion they recieved from the buyout. He would have brought a huge fanbase with him and I think done fairly well...or still could be doing well...in WWE.

It's a shame to see him in a sinking company once again, only this time he's a bit too old to make a comeback in another company. I would have truly loved to see Sting have one huge run in WWE....but hey I guess that's one for the fantasy match thread huh?

I could never understand why Vince didn't go after Sting back
during his WCW takeover. He already had a name for himself and
the merchandising would of been a cash cow.
