To be fair, it is difficult to impossible to put on a memorable match without a proper story, which requires the talking that you so abhor.

Not to say i don't enjy a good segment/promo... and obviously yes some matches do need that proper build, but what i am saying is more wrestling and less talking, because at the moment it seems like 3 quarters of impact these days is talking and about one quarter is wrestling, and half the time the talking/segments have nothing to do with pushing a good match... i.e The Beautiful people and the Governer, that is just crap, take that out and you can get in a decent match. Whats the point in always crossing backstage to Jarett and Foley after a MEM promo, we know what there reaction will be, its the same as the last 10 times they did it, there is no point. So yeah, not to say get rid of all the talking, which i admit is a huge part to a wrestling show, but TNA's segments really arent good enough to build half a show on, let alone 3 quarters of one, so they need to have some more matches, and build some stories that why. For example in WWE, most the time they build a series of matches from one guy losing, and just wanting to revenge that loss so they have another. That is way better imo thatn a rediculous segment about god knows what just because you want to feature your whole roster on one 2 hour show.

I will agree with that. TNA needs to focus on segments and interviews that actually build to matches, rather than simply doing them for the sake of using up airtime.

Last time I watched Impact, I saw more minutes of those stupid video segments (you know those ones where they go 'What's your favourite food?' etc.) which are utterly pointeless than actual wrestling.

1. Focusing on THIER promotion gettting better, and not trying to compete with WWE.
2. Developing their talent.
3. Getting knockouts division back in line
4. Gettting X-Division back in line
5. Not necessarily stop hiring ex-WWE talent, but slow down on it
6. Stop hiring talent for the name recognition and and start doing so for their skill
7. Focus on their young skilled talent

QUOTE=Dipset Army;394220]1. a de-push for creed

What's wrong with Creed? Kids got a bright future in wrestling.[/QUOTE]

Creed might have a bright future, but he still has more to prove in that ring towards me...

anyone can act like a flamoyant american.. hell even apollo creed..

Once he get more smooth and crisp in that ring, I will still say no major push for him in 2009...

watch No surrender 2008 3 way.. (that match was interesting when petey/sheik was battling and once creed came into it, you got the occasion botch/error or not pin point accurancy...)

His height is also a factor 5 foot 9. He's only 22 give him 3-6 more yrs to improve his art in the ring and on mic and then i'd push him, if he is successful.. because at the moment, i don't see anything special in him whatsoever..

It took alex shelley 4-5 yrs to win X-title. A title he should probably had in 2007 when they were moving joe/styles on to main event scene...

But for 2009 what do i want to see

1. When sting drops the title to who top talent it is.. Shake there hands in honor and respect.. In which could cause Sting disband from MEM....

2. Beer Money Inc/MCMG's feud (it can evaulate either team to new heights and we all know excellent wrestlers started in tag division. bret hart, HBK, edge, christian, Hardys, owen hart etc...)

3. Roxxi vs Awesome Kong title Match - I see something in roxxi, but she needs her hair back imo.. I do think these 2 can bring the best out of each other.

4. Brutus Magnas won't make a impact...

5. sonjay will be released.. (this man has bene there since 2004 i think.. from the pool of talent that still there now.. He is the least successful one)

6. LaX will go solo more offered in 2009.. (i say don't break these guys up, but let them go solo for a wild and see how they go)

I know cide vs shelley, Cide vs sabin, Cide Vs Lethal, Cide Vs Williams are destined not to sucked.

7. Jay Lethal will still be Generic but macho man style.. (i like this guys in-ring, But without the macho 1980's crap, He is st8 Generic anbd it won't sell).. This is what i fear for herandez if they ever broke up LAX...

8. Angle vs Foley (hey I don't think it happen, i saw Y2j vs foley on a sm 1999 and thought it never happen.) This match would draw as it would be the 1st time.. but it should be saved for a Major PPv at a venue that can hold alot of people..

9. Nash, Sting and scott steiner retired... (steiner tna has been better than his wwe 2nd stint, but i havent enjoyed sting/nash time in tna as of much)

10. BG james, christy, kip james, lance rock, rhaka khan, sonjay dutt to be fired... These guy have been in tna for a decent length, But what have they achieved??? Have they done anything memorable or are they just waste in the roster...

11. alot less Heel/face turns with in one year... (last year in tna we saw alot of turns, team 3d they are always turning face/heels, Nash, petey williams i think he turned face - heel - face within 12 months,

wcw use to have this problem.. as i remember Kevin Nash after nwo run, He was face - then went heel mid 99, then turn face early 2000, then turn heel 3/4 2000 and then turn face in end of 2000...

you need to get your face/heel turn balance well or else it will confuse alot of fans, espeically new fans.

I only want to see TNA do two things in 2009

1) Rob Van Dam to appear back on National TV. You can't say TNA can't afford him.

2)For TNA to finally say FU WWE were your biggest competition and you can't do anything about it like WWE vs WCW in the mid 90's

I just want the X-Division revitolized like it was when Daniels, Joe, and Styles were main eventing PPV's as X-Division stars. But it's already looking up as Shelly is champ and will most likely fued with Sabin and Homicide has a title shot. Do I smell an awesome Ultimate X?

I definitely agree with you here and it already looks as though they are trying to since making Shelley become champ by beating Sabin in a good match and next impact Shellet defends against Sabin, Dutt and Bashir which could be good if they make good sense of it. I hope that the X-Division goes back to its old ways.

for the x and tag team div to become relavanet and good again beer moneys good there getin more teams going and shelly is the new champ and could bring back the glory days of that belt and also for tna to stop doing Blue booking screw it if you take away the Blue booking all those things would come back into line so no more Blue booking
