Readers Kyle M. and Diaz81 have sent word that in the new February 2009 issue of WWE Magazine, on page 53, there is advertisement for the No Way Out pay-per-view and the Elimination Chamber match calling it a "Natural Disaster Elimination Chamber Match at No Way Out for the WWE Championship. Jeff Hardy, Edge, Big Show, Vladimir Kozlov, Triple H and The Undertaker."

If SmackDown's Elimination Chamber match will be for the WWE Championship then that contradicts previous reports leaked from the creative team, which were always noted to change as plans are always changing these days. It will be interesting to see if WWE sticks to what's advertised or comes up with something else when Christian Cage is thrown into the mix

Surely WWE aren't dumb enough to give away their plans in their mag when the Rumble is still to come?

Funny thing is though that I've been saying that I expected the title to be vacant when we reach Mania... If Jeff AND Edge were to be competing in the EC FOR the title then that suggests that my suspicions were half right.

I wonder what the "Natural Disaster" schtick is all about (if anything)?

I see Christian getting involved, costing Hardy the title letting Edge OR HHH to win. Triple H or Edge will go on and face Taker or Kozlov. That then sets up Christian vs. Hardy, and Triple H/Edge vs. Taker/Kozlov.
Ta Da!

I was thinking the same thing. Would WWE actually put spoilers in there reguarding a ppv. But it may not mean that the title gets vacated. Just there maybe matches after the Rumble, leading toward NWO to determine who goes in the Chamber for the title. And since Jeff and Edge are in it, that would mean that one of them would be champ going into it. Like the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th chamber.

It's possible.. but cards are subject to change. I wouldn't get my hopes up. Although,... Christian returning would be awesome.

WWE is no stranger to spoiling things in their magazine.

Or did you forget how we got the confirmation of Chris Jericho returning? :shifty:

I would want to see Vladimir Kozlov vs. Christian Cage in a singles match rather than have them thrown into the Elimination Chamber matches.

^^^That's WELL random.... What appeals to you so much about that combo?

Aaaah, of course, the title DOES get defended in the EC... Cos of the amount of times HHH has won(*) and the more recent ones, I forgot they're not all for vacant titles or title shots... In that case ignore my whole previous spiel and I'll stick with my prediction of the title being vacant at WM.

(*E-zeeee now... Don't get excited, HHHaters!)

LOL.... I haven't read WWE magazine since they had someone like Rick Rude on the cover!
