So, I noticed at a recent PPV they had Mick Foley booked for a match against Kip James...

Was kip somehow a last minute replacement due to all the injuries to the roster? If so who was originally booked as Micks opponent?

.....It seems crazy to me that Foley would use up one his '9 lives' (i.e. remaining matches before his body totally gives up on him) on such a low 'prestige' opponent/match.

Has it happened yet? ...Who won? ...Was it any good?

Cheers in adv.

The ME of the ppv was suppose the Main Event Mafia (Booker, Nash, and Stiener) against the Front Line (Foley, D-Von, and Styles) Nash was sentenced to the hospital with a legit injury, he had a serious staph infection, and it was fear of blood poisoning. This was found out Sunday afternoon (the day of the ppv).

Earlier, it was announced via text that on Sunday (the day of the ppv) there would be an 8-man elimination tag annouced between LAX, Sharkboy, and Eric Young against Kioshi, Rock and Rave Infection, and Cute Kip. But later that was changed to a 6-man elimination match dropping Shark Boy and Cute Kip.

Then when the Main event came, Cute Kip was announced as the replacement for Nash. It was all last minute changes. They commentators tried putting Kip over as being worthy of being in the match with his title wins and how serious he is (when he's been playing a jobbering homosexual for the past few months).

The match it self I think wasn't that good It was decent, but no where near a ppv Main Event. The Front Line won the match after it was restarted in a hardcore match. I thought it was crazy for Foley's big in-ring debut on TNA to be in a match that consisted of Kip, in the ME of a ppv. TNA's riddled with alot of injured wrestlers right now, that (including that match) 3 of the matches of the night were changed, and every match besides the opener, somebody was either injured during the match or went in the match in pain/sickness.
