New Year, New Section? Mafia '26 Phase 2 (Game Thread)

Here is where I am at after reading up.

Jean- nuetral but could go either way currently. Seems like he is trying to solve but I am cautious of him.

Brett- slight town lean as he does seem to be involved based upon what I read last game where he wasnt doing much. Felt early on either Bret or Jean was trying to use the last game to get a read on each other or to get the other on their side as the day has progressed I have seen more distance between them and Brett has seemed more independent of thought.

Tommy- have had a hard time reading him as he is learning the game. The self vote I have seen on both sides but as a newer player is probably town as frustration can lead to a self vote. No read on him as he hasnt interacted much with anyone besides Brett.

Juice- I dont remember juice sitting back as much but doesnt mean he isnt paying attention. Juice hasnt done much for me to get a read yet. I do like that he has gone back to check games out on hunches.

Blaze- seems more defensive this game from the last game on a few occasions,

Grim- Feels like Grim, says some things and a little sarcastic with what he is saying. Still trying to figure out if this is town Grim or scum Grim. I cant remember if sarcastic Grim is more town or not, lean slightly scum.

Troop- have not really liked a post Troop has made yet. Has been very on the fence with his posts and the I will be back to vote at end of day is very bad and only voted after Lethal told him to do something so a retaliatory vote.
Will be my vote only based upon

Lethal- Slight town lean for me. Has seemed to be hunting for scum. Doesn't seem to be pushing an agenda and asking questions.


Are we still at 3 votes on Lethal?

Also why are we voting Blaze currently as I didnt see anything warranting a vote on him.

I have spent the last hour reading these with a bad signal hoping once I leave here I will get a better signal in about 5 hours. We have almost 24 hours left in the day.

Interesting over-extension of a reads list. Fence sitting on Jean which is strange by not committing to a read. Gives enough chance to walk it back and then buddy up in thread if called out on it.

TMI town clears on Brett and Juice. Like he fumbled over a reason to say they're town.

Struggled read on Blaze

Fence sitting on Barry as well. A lot of waffle without much sauce.

One could also realise they were duped and very wrong on their reads, ala myself & Juice

Whwn questioned on my reasons, this was what I said by the way. I just want to give complete transparency. I understand this could set myself up to be the next vote. But I wanna be straightforward

Cause even with him being here less. I've liked seeing how much he reads back and looks at things. Now I could be getting played there and he is getting fed the information, but I genuinely think he's reading the stuff he missed. Where my trust in you is at 52....his is only at 53. So not much higher. I like his play and feel as if he's truly trying to figure the game out.

Nah this is the primary reason I am voting Juice. What on earth has Wang given that would make someone so confident to be all giddy about getting him out? Wang and Barry have played the exact same game. Played from the outside, ask the right questions, not overly suspect anyone. You can't be like 100% all in on Wang and not at least questioning Grim.

Good shit on the Wang lynch. Distressing to see Brett go. I may have to go back and see what Wang's opinion on Blaze was.

I'm gonna be real with ya Jean. This honestly shoots you up my suspect list. That whole end phase and everything, very murky.

Like I don't know, just the way it switched and changed so fast. Honestly feels like you went back to Wang to try and clear yourself for when he flipped.

I helped hammer Wang. Be paranoid all you want but it's not happening

Lethal and grim are the move today . I think it's solved mostly with Brett dying. Blaze could be but he's lowest on my scum list .

I'm leaning grim because wang hopped on the lethal wagon so that is a smaller percentage Wang would go for his teammate instead of accepting his fate

Part of the reason why I did that blitz vote at the end, it pretty much confirmed Wang being scum
