Miz and Morrison vs. MCMG

Today in the wrestling business there are two young talented tag teams that outshine every other tag team of this era. From WWE, the Miz and John Morrison and from TNA, the Motor City Machine Guns.

Which tag team in your opinion is the better of the two? :sq_yellow_blush:

I like the way in which Morrison and Miz evolved, the dirt sheet, the weekly promos, the extended tv-time, Be Jealous and the Slammy Award for Tag Team of the year 2008. I was doubtful when they first formed but they turned out to be one to the most entertaining tag teams of the WWE and all of pro-wrestling today and so in my opinion, John Morrison and the Miz are the better tag team today.

Easily the Guns. They both have excellent wrestling skills, and Alex is quite underrated when it comes to his promo skills. They also have established a great name for themselves as one of the top teams, winning titles worldwide. They look like a team that were meant to be together.

On the other hand, you have Miz & Morrison. But have adequate wrestling skills, promo ability and charisma. This past year, they have established themselves as a big name as a tag team. But, I can't help but get the feeling that they are just a makeshift team that have made it quite well. Unlike Punk/Kofi who were just throw together and won a title, these two have steadily bonded as a team.

But I still quite easily prefer a Guns match to a Mizorrison match.

I don't care for any of the two tag teams. but I wouldn't say they suck. I voted for Miz and Morrison though because I think both teams are pretty cool in the ring but Miz and Morrison entertain me more outside the ring. MMG don't entertain me outside the ring.

Pretty much hit the nail on the head. Both have great promo skills and put on ***+ matches every time they team up or wrestler each other. While I like Morrison, Miz just totally detracts from me thinking this is the best tag team in wrestling. I'd rank them 2nd behind the Guns if I had, and that's just because of Morrison. Miz just seems too stale for my liking. The saying on his shirt sounds like something an 8th grader would come up with and his promo skills are pretty awful. His in-ring ability is decent, but nothing comparable to Sabin or Shelley. Not really a close comparison imo.

I am going to have to say the guns, sure Miz and Morrison are more entertaining promo wise and charisma though the Guns have the wrestling skills way over Miz and Morrison.

Though then again Miz and Morrison have great tag team moves and it is hard to compare then as they both use two different styles of wrestling. They use Brawling and Heel sort of tactics while the Guns use Highflying tactics and playing to the crowd. And each respective team are great at what they do.

Though overal without repeating what others have said and 'beating the dead horse' I am going to say in conclusion that Guns > Mizorrison. Why, cause Morrison and Miz are great but they each have single's careers before beeing a tag team like how Morrison was ECW champ. And I think this is just a stepping stone for both of them to split up and go as single guys whereas MCMG are probably going to be a team for a long time. As they seem like a unit in the ring and are meant to be together.

(And yes, I know Alex just won the X Division but to be fair he probably will lose it by the next PPV, he just got it imo/ cause TNA was throwing him a bone of sorts after their complaining about the 'blading' a few months back. It was just something so they wouldn't run to another company.)

I'll go with Morrison/Miz. I like the MCMG but they have a definite ceiling. I think Morrison/Miz can be serious main-event players in WWE, the bigger company. Of the four wrestlers, I consider Miz the worst, but Morrison by far the best. And Miz isn't a bad wrestler at all. He has really surprised me. When he first showed up, he had the skills of David Flair. But he has progressed tremendously and once Morrison/Miz have run its course, I can image John Morrison being a top #1 guy and Miz being a pretty decent mid-carder, maybe a US champ/IC champ type guy on occassion.

I can't even call Mizorrison the second best tag team. Steenerico are a much better and fluent tag team then them, so are LAX and even The No Sellscoes. I'd probably put Mizorrison behind them, who are still nothing more then a makeshift tag team that have been together longer and blended better then say a Punk/Kingston or a Cena/Michaels.

I'd say MCMG. To me Miz/Morrision havent even topped the original MnM. Who has Morrison and Miz beat?!?!?!?!?!? MCMG are wrestling the best tag teams in the world, while Miz/Morrision was a team thrown together, and they cut a internet dirt sheet. Has Miz/Morrison had any great matches? Sure they've had a lot of good matches, but I'd say the guns are one of the best teams today.

I like Miz/Morrison but as Montana said they're haven't topped Morrison's old team, MnM. Miz/Morrison are a great tag team, one of the best I've seen in awhile of two stars throw together. But they haven't had those "special" matches yet. No tables match, no ladder match, they haven't had that match that they're remembered for.

MCMG is just ridiculous in the ring. They got a bigger moveset than SVR games. I haven't seen them in the ring in awhile because everytime I flip the channel to TNA they're showing more of the Frontline/MEM feud or that Morgan/Abyss bullshit.

But MCMG are the superior team, until Miz/Morrison have that match, I'm siding with MCMG.

Seriously, the question really gets to the fact that TNA actually has in an interest in creating a real tag team division, and WWE doesn't. That isn't Miz and Morrison's fault.

I'm saying MCMG>Briscoes>Mizorrison.

However, all three are absolutely top-notch teams. I think I prefer them all to the Hardy Boys, E&C, and The Dudleyz, to be honest.

I like MCMG by a mile here. Like Montana said they wrestle the best tag teams across the world and MnM haven't really wrestled anyone good of note. I'm not very big on Morrison's mic work and The Miz is just horrible. His whole "gimmick" is really gay, his in-ring work deserves credit for just how much he's improved. But I don't think I can ever like him...>_> Anyway, Sabin and Shelley are both the total package and entertaining as all get out. it's possible some of their "Detroit" promos can lose some people but I love everything about it. Plus If I had to pick the "best" of any 1 person out of the 4 i'd take Sabin.

And as Axis said, i'd rank the Briscoes in between, if they're apart of it. =/

MCMG have an amazing chemistry. They're like one person. I hate Morrison and the Miz because I want to see Morrison break out as a singles competitor. I really don't see any challenge here. It's MCMG by a mile.
