Well I was off Nic for 4 years, only recently started smoking cigs again. But that's also cuz I don't drink, smoke weed, drink caffeine or do any drugs anymore, which is great for me, but I've always needed my vices in moderation. The way I've quit Nic was by smoking cigs and what I would do is like a progression approach. First Day I wouldnt smoke my first cig until 10 am, next day 10:30, day after 11:00 and the cycle goes on until your pretty confidently getting a full day without smoking. For me cigs have always been so much easier to moderate because working in schools I can't just come in reeking of butts and then I definitely have some level of shame in front of my family and shit. Nor would I ever think to smoke inside my apartment. So it's just harder to keep up with as much as vaping is with natural constraints
