I used to make these threads in 2007, and now i think its time to bring it back. Basically its estimating how you think new talent will do in the WWE/TNA.

My question is, who do you think will be brought up in the 12 months? I have a handful of names, but I'm also looking for who you guys think will be brought up. Once we get some names, I'll post some videos so everyone can see what they have to offer.

Here is some from 2007, some interesting reviews for these wrestlers.

Ok, I am going to talk about WWE and not TNA, as TNA could pick up anybody from the indies and bring them up, so I'll just adress FCW.

Sooner or later, with all what has been talked, they will call up TJ Wilson and DH Smith. I am not sure if they will go with the Hart Foundation gimmick, but they will get called up.

WWE loves to bring up monsters, so Black Pain is also a chance. I don't know if he's green or not, but apparently WWE is big on them as he got a rub from Umaga on one show. He has a manager so he might also get called up.

And, Eric Escobar. He is running a gimmick in which thanks to Eddie Colon dropping him he hates second generation superstars (I am not sure if they continued with it, but he cut promos bashing them), and with all the second generation men that are around, he could get called up.

I see nobody else getting called up. Sheamus O'Shaunessy is a dark horse, shame as Joe Hennig, however Hennig won't get called up until 2010, imo.

If anything, we'll see returns. The return of Kevin Thorn and the return of Drew McIntyre.

I really don't think 2009 will be a big year for younger talent in WWE, I see more of the characters that debuted this year developing. We already saw what happened with some of the gimmicks on SD that didn't even get to start.

Kevin Thorn sounds like he could get called up, but he might not find success that quickly. A midcard run could be the most for him.

Tyrone Jones looks like he could be big. I've never seen him in the ring before, but from pictures, it seems like he has an MMA/Kickboxer gimmick.

Sheamus is good too, but he doesn't really fit anywhere. He's a big guy, and maybe they can find a way to team him with Finlay.

Ryan Reeves is jacked, and he could be another muscular call up that Vince falls in love with.

And for both the WWE and TNA, the ROH Contracts are expiring soon. It could mean guys like Nigel, Black, Hero and Claudio could leave to go the WWE or sign with TNA.

Did you get this idea from our discussion in the FCW thread? lol

Anyway, I'll stick by me post in there:

Yeah, Wilson and Smith have to debut on SD. They've been doing dark matches managed by Natalie Neidhart/Natalya, so I think they'll be going with that pairing.

I'd probably put Tarver on SmackDown! or RAW. He has the serious MMA gimmick (last time I saw), so he'd be someone I'd like to see with a decent instant push. You could go down two roads with him and either have him not talk at all and be all action, or give him a shit talking manager. I'd go down one of those two roads, don't care which.

I think the two to watch for next year on ECW are Gavin Spears and Eric Perez. Spears is someone WWE seems to love, so he'll redebut and get a push no doubt. Perez is someone who I see moving up just because he has a pretty badass look, and he did team with Primo Colon before Primo went up. I think with Primo gone, they have to eventually give him his chance too.

Mhm.

Nah, i just thinking how its fun to see guys like Santino / Koffi their videos from back in ovw and other promotions. Plus its interesting to read how well people think the new talent will do. I noticed a few were like what the fuck is koffi Kingston, and Rell said Quackenbush is the next big thing. To me, its fun to look back on these post.

Last year would have been ideal with OVW closing and all...but I think theres a few names to look out for.

One guy i have my eye on is Johnny Prime. He still looks pretty green, but he appears to be quite a babyface. Almost Cena-esque face. Cause some guys were hating him. I think he's got the size and look the wwe likes. It may take some time but i think if Prime really applys himself, he could do well in this business. Just kinda had that "it" about him. Then again, i've only seen him twice.

The 'it' factor is a very big thing, because quite honestly a lot of WWE guys (main roster and devlopmental) have the talent, but they just don't have that 'it' factor. Charlie Haas is someone who I think has amazing in ring skills, but he only just found charisma through impersonating people.

nah tbh, i cant even remebering to post here...

But who will be good for WWE...

I think Scotty Goldman if he is re-boughten up, would be the ideal man for the entertainment view out of group of new guys...

Harry smith will be the most workrated ethnic out of the development pool to be bought up to the main roster of 2009...

as i been looking thru the development pool: i can see Ryback and Lawerance Knight trying to make some impact to do there look as it could be a money marketing looking...

If joe henning or either amy henning are working well in development, i personally see one of them as a protege legacy henchman..

Mike and Brett DiBiase could be given deals, probably towards the end of 2009.
