that being said, there is no provincial arm here for passports. its service canada which is directly the feds. i dont really understand the logic behind locking up passport behind state or provincial buraucracy

you can do the renewal online, for a new one you can print the forms, get your pictures done at a local pharmacy then mail it or just go with all your paperwork to the local service canada office and pay and file it there. thats the fastest way. you can pay extra for it to be expedited. but its fast as fuck. a week or two

I can actually do this as well, but doing it at the clerk's office is supposedly less of a hassle. I would also still need to mail the check too lol but bc my last name is different than my birth certificate I'd rather a human tell me if I have the right docs or not
