This is insanely meaningless in the grand scheme of things but I keep seeing stuff like "this is why HHH said the allegations are allegations line" but like, do we seriously not think he would have said that line even if Brock wasn't coming back? I don't even think it's the first time he said it lmao like I said, meaningless and shouldn't affect your opinions on anything either way, but that's a funny correlation people keep making

i think it's fair to make that connection to be honest but I agree with your point still that he was always like this about the vince stuff.

I think the real "gotcha" that they knew they were doing shitty things was the cancellation of the pressers. I listened to a reputable podcast this morning and was informed that media was informed it was cancelled DURING night 1 with zero heads up. So a bunch of people lost a whole lot of money going to the show hoping for interviews after etc.

Because Cena hates controversy and adamantly avoids it. He's a golden boy and universally beloved. There's almost nothing he could do that would ruin his reputation, so taking HHH's words at face value, to me, feel like a way to try and dispel any controversy.

Jacob v Solo been has been an excellent fucking match. Everything in the match was done superb. Even though he lost got some revenge on MFT Loa and Mateo. That's made Tommy one happy man

i think there was maybe only 1 bad match overall maybe two? read the fatu match was ass and the lyra becky match was good but the crowd shat on it because of bad card placement . which sucks and its happened on aedw ppvs before too and I always feel bad for the ladies when it happens

Yeah the Solo Fatu match wasn't that good. Maybe it was a timing issue as it felt short and kinda rushed. With the Becky and Lyra match, Shane was there and mentioned that people was doing the wave during it? Which is disappointing because it was a pretty good match, not great or anything but I would've been mad if I was there trying to enjoy it and idiots were being distracting with the wave.

I disagree. I 100% believe Cena wants to face Brock again and doesn't have any issues with what he's been accused of. I doubt that it was all Cena's idea, I could see either side being the one to broach the subject but I can absolutely imagine Cena having a lot of influence on whether they pulled the trigger or not and, in fact, his experience being a corporate robot who dodges any responsibility for anything probably empowered him to believe that they could get away with this, which they will.

first off fuck Triple H, he has daughters he knows this shit is true and he let this happen, and you all know I've always defended the man but this is alot
canceling the presser and then pretending he heard the crowd chanting we want Brock is indefensible, stand up for something man..also Karrion Kross is gonna desereves better then you ignoring his name to for this thing, hope he goes somewhere and gets all he deserves

fuck John Cena, he definitely wanted Brock, his interviews and actions have shown he doesn't care about the shit Vince has done so why wouldn't he want his boy. Doing that many Make A Wishes is great and all but at no point does it erase flawed morals, he doens't give two shits about women
now here's the part that I have had issues trying to convey, why is it so hard to walk away from WWE for good, it's because it's not the same as other wrestling. I love the theatrics and pomp and circumstance of it all. There is no other company that does the same style they do and at the level they do and that's what I love and always have for over 40 years. And I like AEW a ton but it's different and everyone know it is. Its not bad I just prefer the WWE style it was always my way to escape and I have been obsessed with it at times the storylines the larger than life characters all of it. And no other promotion does it and AEW never will because they are more ring oriented and that's fine I enjoy it but it doesn't fill that void in me. But now I'm done with it except I will still support the women and watch clips of them on socials because they need our support more than ever. But I won't watch any of it live, wont even record the shows in my YTV anymore...am I making to much out of it??? Maybe but like this has been so much of my life for so long it depresses the fuck out of me to have to give it up cuz the company is morally evil and don't even wanna fucking hide it. Like seriously it's grosser than gross to bring this man back when they are literally text screenshots that show he was complacent. Allegations are Allengations....fuck you Paul. The same week as the Trump dicklicking too...god it's gross and like I get the people that have been saying it for awhile wanna take a victory lap but man the gloating I see (not just here) makes the pit in my stomach so much worse...like I really don't wanna read about this shit and if I didnt just start the new season of BOTS i'd be taking a break...but also don't take this as me telling you all you can't I dont think I'm that important..I'm just mourning the death of what I once used as my outlet my escape to just not worry about real life...but they made it impossible now...I can only hope the backlash from this is severe, I hope we start getting some wrestlers that boycott matches and lash out as much as they can. I can't fault alot of the talent they all have contracts and families and shit that I can't imagine...but this company needs to be given a wake up call that is impossible to ignore...

Honestly man, I feel the same way. I said this in private to Jeff and Looch already. But yeah. I've been watching this my whole life. I honestly can't remember a time I didn't watch WWE. They were times maybe I didn't watch one brand, but never a time I completely went cold on watching either show live. Shit leaves me depressed to. It's gonna be a hard habit to break. But definitely worth doing. Like you I'll look at stuff on social media of the very few people I want support. But the way you feel is 100% validated, because I think a lot of people feel like that, with anger as well that they show time and time again they don't care.
