Returning WWE star already done with the company?
Steve Gerweck - Thursday, December 18 2008 - 12:18 AM

As we reported earlier this week, former WWE and TNA superstar Tomko returned to World Wrestling Entertainment Monday night in Pittsburgh, PA. Tomko defeated Paul Burchill in a dark match. The match was designed to make the returning Tomko look good and to help him get over with the Raw audience. John Laurinaitis was a big proponent of bringing Tomko back to the company. Apparently when Vince McMahon
got a good look at Tomko, and his preceived unimpressive physical shape, he gave the former Johnny Ace an ear full. Not to mention, Tomko blew up in his short two minute match.

From what I hear, Tomko's return may already be over. A source tells GERWECK.NET that Tomko could be released at any time.

Tomko resigned with WWE a few months ago, and was expected to work out with Florida Championship Wrestling until the company was ready for him to return to the road. Tomko lives about an hour from the training facility, but only showed up a couple of times.

If Tomko is again let go by WWE, we are hearing that powers that be within TNA will work to block him from returning. TNA feels Tomko hasn't been honest with them
in the past. Tomko did leave TNA to work in Japan, but with no steady offers from the Orient, Tomko returned to TNA.

from Scott Hensley:

Tomko was recently spotted in the airport in Pittsburgh with his arm in a sling. He said he may have broken something in his arm.

I seen Tomko wrestle last Monday since I was there, he performed well in my opinion for his first match back and the crowd popped good for him much to a surprise.

If he does end up gone from WWE, I'm happy people in TNA are working to keep him out. It's what he deserves.

This kind of sucks, I was looking for a return.

As long as he ends up in either TNA or WWE then I'm happy.

This is gay. Just leave him in FCW for a while and let him get back into shape. I'd be so upset if I can't see Tomko in WWE OR TNA.

I was waiting for a classic Edge, Christian and Tomko stable :(

I hope he just goes back to TNA once he is released from the WWE and TNA accepts him.

This sucks. Hopefully he can get one more dark match and try to impress them.
Like c4 said, an Edge/Christian/Tomko stable would reek of awesomeness.

Mike do you got a picture of Tomko. I know they said he was sorta out of shape I been wanting to see how bad it is.

Any I hope they don't fire him. Tomko is pretty good in the ring and we saw that in TNA. Maybe WWE will keep him knowing how good he can be and let him get in to shape.

Agreed, after all it's his first match coming back to the company. They need to let him work more often and he will probably turn out to be good instead of releasing him immediately after his first dark match.

:smh This is stupid. Seriously, why doesn't anybody want Tomko? :( No Oriental, no TNA and now no WWE possibly. =/

I think they're afraid of another Braden (fatass) Walker fiasco. Either way Tomko can probably make a lot of money in Japan.

Decide for yourselves whether or not he looks heavy.
