Well MNMV.2 have gotten the titles and best tag team of the year 08' slammy award in less then a week. I see a push in the works.

Punk and Kofi were a pointless tag team anyway. I'd rather see a title change on TV, but I won't complain about this. I guess the World Tag Belts are going to ECW now

They have never hold those tag titles. They were WWE Tag Team Champions.

Sad is, as a tag team, this is as far as WWE will push you.

I can't even name any tag teams on ECW right now, so they'll just be sticking on Raw. That's where Miz and Morrison have been anyways, so it won't be a big change.
I'm fine with this title change at a house show. It saves us from seeing something like a Kofi or Punk turn. Both of them need to be faces to get higher up on the card, because any feud they'd have as heels would be uneven. I'm guessing this is a hint at Punk's fate in the IC Title Tourney.

Umm... this Miz and Morrison have already been pushes for months now. They have been booked strong and had really high profile matches. For the past three months they had grown better than their own brand and even grown better than the tag team titles. They were being pushes like hell so winning the titles makes little difference to them.

Agreed I don't see how recieving a World Title run can be one upped by barely main eventing ECW but don't get me wrong I am a Morrison fan.

Its just that WWE are trying to balance things up abit. The faces were holding the titles in Raw, so they gave this to the heels. thats all imo.

Um the IC & Women's Champion were heels. The World Champ and World Tag Champs were faces. So we had an even balance. Now Cena is the only face champion on Raw.
I was just saying this in the shoutbox, no doubt the WWE will use this to try and help boost ticket sales for house shows by showing how big things can happen even at house shows when you least expect it.

Yeah, that's why I said they should win the WWE tag team titles as well. Which, I think they probably might due to this, as they make it seem subtle for when they would unify the titles. This would put more focus on tag teams as they would just show up on all shows like Miz and Morrison do now, it's cool.
