Im new here and I just wanted to review ppvs somewhere my friend told me about this forum and I want to share to you all my wrestling knowledge I have. I watch basiclly every company/indy show you can think of so if you have any ?'s you can pm me or we can discuss things I love to do it w/ you guys. I am going to do Armageddon '07 because Armageddon '08 is Sunday and looks like one of the best card's Wwe put out this year. I will review that also.
ARMAGEDDON 2007![/CENTER MVP vs. Rey Mysterio
This was a pretty good match with mvp finally defend the us title again the match was worked pretty well at the end with the crowd getting into this with the near falls but then the end which was that mvp got him self counted out and it was just very blah finish and hurt this match some what
formula tag match one that we see a lot Kane used a lot of uppercuts and we saw punk trying to basically carry every one in this match the heel team won this won in a match we all seen before
This was a very good old school type of match an I enjoyed this a counter by these 2 good workers the story of the match was Hbk working over Kennedy’s arm and the amazing selling efforts by Mr. Kennedy in this one really got people thinking is he really hurt in this one delivering a really believable match. The end came with Kennedy making a "young" mistake using his arm to hit Kennedy in the face and hurting him self and Hbk buying time to deliver sweet chin music for the win
Great match in this one this still I have to say is there best match to this date hardy did everything he could in this match and HHH carried him letting him set up his spots in this match these 2 just have weirdly great chemistry together always putting on a fun match the ending was kind of like out of no where and looked fluky but all and all great match
Not going to write about this one because there's not much to write about it was ok for the 6 minutes with Finlay of course doing most of the work
good match here not bad for Jericho long match back they work well together with Orton taking over most of the match with some headlocks and rest holds it pick up the pace at the end with some good counters and near falls the crowd was into it the ending came with JBL kicking Y2J in the face and a via d-q win for Jericho
Ok match lot of yelling which got annoying basically a popcorn match or stretch match or take your shit match what ever you want to call it that’s what this really was but ok-ish work but the girls but not enough
textbook stuff edge didn’t really do much in this match which was kind of disappointing it was just Undertaker and Roidtista doing most of the work and undertaker wearing his carrying shoes once again the end came off very freakish to me when I was watching this live but I was glad edge won the title and doing what he does best stealing the title oh yeah and the awesome ringing of the bell was also classic edge stuff
Roller coaster of a show with a decent opener 3 not so good matches with a good match a very good match and a great match with a pretty good but disappointing main event all and all this show is passable and I would say it was "good" but not great id tell you to check out the HH vs. Hardy match and the Kennedy vs. everything else is really skip able imo anyway
