MLW debuts in Los Angeles with Battle RIOT on April 5​

Los Angeles, CA – Major League Wrestling (MLW) is bringing its most anticipated event of the year, Battle RIOT VII, to Los Angeles for the first time ever! On Saturday, April 5, 2025, MLW will take over the Commerce Casino & Hotel as 40 combatants riot in the biggest match in MLW.

Tickets go on sale Monday, December 9 at 10 a.m. PT at www.MLWLA.com and Eventbrite, starting at just $10. This is an all-ages event, so all fans are welcome to experience the thrill live and in person.

The Commerce Casino & Hotel will host MLW’s Los Angeles debut. The majestic nine-story hotel is located within minutes of downtown Los Angeles, and just an elevator ride away from its iconic card room, boasting the most table and casino card games in Southern California.‍ The Commerce Casino & Hotel in Los Angeles features luxurious rooms and suites, popular poker games and tournaments, 24/7 table-side services, and more.


Battle RIOT VII will showcase 40 competitors in a no-holds-barred extravaganza, as they fight for a chance to challenge the MLW World Heavyweight Champion. A unique mash-up of a battle royal and an anything-goes street fight, this super-sized main event features new participants entering the ring every 60 seconds.

Expect surprises, legends, and jaw-dropping moments as the best from MLW, CMLL, and New Japan Pro Wrestling collide to secure a title shot any time, anywhere. Eliminations occur by pinfall, submission, or by tossing competitors over the top rope—anything can happen in the Battle RIOT!

MLW’s Biggest Event Ever Moves to Thunder Studios Arena in Long Beach on April 5

LOS ANGELES — Major League Wrestling (MLW) today announced that due to overwhelming demand for tickets to its Los Angeles debut, Battle RIOT VII will now be hosted at the state-of-the-art Thunder Studios Arena in nearby Long Beach, CA on Saturday, April 5.

Battle RIOT VII sold out last week, shattering MLW’s all-time box office record. With West Coast fans flooding MLW with requests after missing out on tickets, the league moved quickly to upgrade to a larger destination to meet the demand and ensure more fans can experience MLW’s biggest event of the year live and in person.

Thunder Studios Arena, located at 20434 S Santa Fe Ave, Long Beach, CA 90810, has hosted world-class combat sports events, including major cards seen on DAZN and featuring Showtime Boxing Promotions. With enhanced amenities, expanded food options, and a more immersive setting, it’s the perfect stage for MLW’s historic Los Angeles debut.

All tickets purchased for the originally scheduled venue at Commerce Casino will be honored at the new venue. For any questions, please contact LA@MLW.com.

With the move to a larger venue, a new wave of tickets will be released starting Wednesday, March 26 at 10 PM PT exclusively at MLWLA.com.

The first-ever MLW Fan Expo will also be hosted at Thunder Studios Arena, starting at 5 PM on April 5. Admission is free, but a Battle RIOT ticket is required for entry. Fans can expect meet-and-greets, interactive experiences, and exclusive merch drops.

Parking is plentiful, with both general and valet parking available on-site.

3-Way Match added to Battle RIOT VII; Mistico injured​

Major League Wrestling (MLW) is proud to announce a sensational new match for the SOLD OUT MLW Battle RIOT VII taking place this Saturday night at the Long Beach Convention Center. MLW President Cesar Duran has confirmed that Templario, Hechicero, and Esfinge will collide in a thrilling triple threat encounter, replacing an injured Místico on the card.

The event takes place from the sold out Thunder Studios Arena in greater Los Angeles, CA and presented live on YouTube at 10pm ET / 7pm PT.
