^^^You'd think so, but whether or not they'll be as well executed is another story...

I mean with a bit of creative thinking (it is the dept's namesake afterall!!!), they could cook up something very cool for Taker, but for HBK what are the options besides giving him the platform to go out and have match of the night (which is more likely than not anyway, retirement or not).

Not to wish either of them away (particularly not HBK), I can't wait to see what unfolds...

They will let HBK choose who he wrestles in his final match.

He will choose HHH. End of story.

That being said. We will probably get HBK vs Taker at Mania this year. I don't like HBK, but I hate the streak even more. Winning streaks in wrestling are beyond gay. I'd rather see someone like Orton, Cena, or Edge end the streak, but if it is HBK so be it.

undertaker's "legacy"= the streak. i find undertaker one of the most boring superstars in the wwe atm but ending the streak will....i dunno, bad idea.

and please guys, dont put fat joe's name in the same post with hbk's.

Undertaker's streak should, IMO, quite obviously be ended by somebody like Ted Dibiase, John Morrison, Manu or Evan Bourne for the simple fact that they could put them over as the biggest heel EVER.

I see where you are coming from...But I don't like your examples. With the possible exception of Morrison.

You can't just have anyone go in and end Taker's streak. It has to be someone who, once handed the ball, can run with it. Someone proven. None of those guys have proven anything yet. Dibiase and Manu aren't even close to over. Bourne is getting face pops. But they are same face pops a lot of new upstart faces who get pushed initially recieve.

Morrison I can see as a legit candidate.

This is sort of like Hogan beating Andre. Hogan was already over and a big star. But he became larger than life after he slammed and beat Andre. Not just any young guy could have capitalized on that. Sure Hogan was already a star, but he became a bigger star.

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. Orton should have been the one to end Taker's streak. They were probably just hesitant to give him another big push after his failed face run. If Orton had beat Taker at Mania, he would be the biggest star in the WWE today, bar none.

Anyway, when it comes down to it, Taker is going to have the final say as to when or if his streak ends and to who. If he wants to keep it, all he has to do is walk away. If he wants to put someone over, its going to be his choice.

While we're on the topic of taker choosing who ends his streak... Does anyone think he will actually allow his streak to end if they ask him? I think he might, cause he seems like a business first guy, and always said (in his out of character interviews) that you have to do what is right for business.

I think pretty much exactly what Cenamark said he just beat me to it, but I think now Taker will probably retire with the streak because it is just too large to actually be beaten by a mere someone because that push will be too large for anyone to handle even the godly triple H :shifty:.

But in all seriousness all the men that Taker has beaten all the legends that means that this man that beats him will be over then to in Kayfabe and that would be a big step in anyones carreer. Too much for a new person to be made a mega star in one shot and I just think its too large to be ended now.

The dream, at least for me, would be to see HBK wrestle his last match against Bret Hart.

I know Bret's kinda iffy about wrestling now, because of the stroke and such, but how great would it be if both of them could have their final match against each other? Put away all the Screwjob nonsense and just go out and give the fans a fantastic match.

This would have been the perfect opportunity for Lance Cade to get that catapult into the main event (if he hadn't fucked up.) Or even THE Brian Kendrick could do it since he was trained by Michaels. It could have been the perfect student-teacher feud.

As far as undertaker goes, if Triple H, Randy Orton or Edge couldn't beat him why should some 2 year rookie get the honor. Those three seemed like the most likely choices.

I think if he thought it was right for business he'd do it. As far as who it would be, if he's still around at WM 26/27 I feel it being Ted DiBiase. Otherwise, I'd really like for it to be John Morrison, because he is fucking awesome.

I am still in the group, if it exists, that the streak will end, and will create the biggest riot of all time, due to one submission maneuver:
