Pro Evo Soccer 09 vs fifa09

I think Fifa's got the edge in this competition. They both have a new form of gameplay where you control 1 player. In fifa's version you choose an existing player and stick with him and his team throughout, whereas for PES, you create your own guy and watch him grow. I thought that the camera angle in PES sucked big time for that feature.

Also, is it just me or is PES stagnating. I don't see any difference other than that. It's a waste of money if you buy a game with not much change in it. So in that aspect, Fifa's better as well. What's more, Fifa tweaked its gameplay.

PES had almost the same feature for like 3 years now. Its still good and yes it would be a waste of money to body a new version of almost 90% same exact things as the previous version.

Fifa started the soccer game, they are the pioneer of this kind of sports. Yes they added so many features to their game, but in play control and the scoring and tackling, I find PES more attractive and more realistic than fifa.

So I would choose PES over FIFA in play match concept. But I would choose FIFA over PES in managing game mode.

Fifa is better than Pes every time, better gamplay, everythings better except the way the play finishes on pes.

i haven't played the 09s yet. but up until last year, it was the same old shit. pes got a better gameplay and fifa got better graphics, features, modes, etc.

i'd still pick pes.

^^^ TDK, I think Fifa made a lot of improvements this year. I was quite impressed. PES though is the same old shit. Worse still, more and more teams are not getting the copyrighted names.

well yea, i know its the same old shit. but with all the improvement up until 2008, pes was still better than fifa. im gonna have to check both of them out after i get NFS.

THe copyright for the teams you can download them as an updating files though. So that wont be a major problem really.
