And I don't just mean literally as in its saving it so I can watch it later. Its letting me skip all the boring ish and only watch what I want, and its a lot more convinient than video tapes. In the last month or so I have actually watched wrestling on a regular basis. Not the whole show mind you, but a lot more than usual.

I would highly recommend a PVR for wrestling fans currently being stifled by the majority of the product.

I own a DVR which is basically the same exact thing.
I love it because I can watch SmackDown in my free time because I always miss it on Friday.
And it's also good for recording football games from Sunday or Monday night and same thing with basketball too.

I just download the show, then I can watch it on my laptop, or connect it to the big screen in my room to watch it. Its like DVD-player, forward whatever the shit you want to skip watching.

I find with downloaded copies that the image quality is never up to watchable standards.

IMO of course.

That's not true for quality downloads, these days we even get HD Downloads. In the Middle East we get Showtime Showboxes, which basically function the same.

k,

well I have never been hooked up with such quality downloads. But even then, what's the point in dl'ing when I just set it one time to record the show every week? At the exact same quality that is broadcast on my television without variance?

I have a PVR too, and I agree, they are awesome. Especially if hockey is on at the same time as Raw.

You don't pay any Monthly Charges? :ermm:

I have it, but it is called Sky+ here. Same thing though. Conts us about $20 extra. £10 if your British like me.

I have a DVR, functions the same. Most of the time, though, I still find myself watching the WHOLE show even if some parts are boring. Don't know why, though.
