Now what if one day I win the lottery and end up with over 800 million?I'll put it this way, and this is something I've reiterated in the past, actually:
Millionaires I don't have a problem with. Those within the $1-$249 Million scale are generally those who are smaller business owners and don't have monopolies on their respective fields.
Multi millionaires I don't like, it's those that are within the $250-$799 Million range that I think have a larger overall control of not only media but businesses in general, and also tend to be venture capitalists who are primarily interested in their own gains, extremely popular athletes, or musicians. I don't advocate for their extinction, but more higher regulations to control their income.
Billionaires, or those in the $800M+ range should not exist. Either their wealth should be stripped down to a more manageable level, or outright overthrown and destroyed into extinction. No person should have that much money to hoard for themselves and control markets, politics, and influence anything.
So with that regards, that would also mean Google, Meta, Microsoft, etc. should be broken up and their subsidiaries made independent.
Well luckily for you, you wouldn't even get like 80% of that money after taxes, you'd be somewhere closer to around $650 Million. Now what if one day I win the lottery and end up with over 800 million?
Keep in mind I would gladly help out any one of my friends here if they needed it![]()
Ahh fuck yeah! I can live off that.Well luckily for you, you wouldn't even get like 80% of that money after taxes, you'd be somewhere closer to around $650 Million.
Don’t tell me that!!Then there's also the data the correlates that those who win the lottery are more prone to depression and suicidal ideation, and I'd be really worried for you Blaze...![]()
Especially phrases like "Putting America First" should always been the reddest of all red flags for any person with a brain between their ears and a basic understanding of what's happening in the US politics for the last 10 years (at least). Decades of misguided, brainwashing-like "patriotism" being hammered into the heads of people prevents them from realizing how that is being utilized by the assholes in power right now.
