Well, kinda suprised there isn't a thread about this yet, but it appears most the people do in fact like this idea.

Myself, im still kinda on the fence about this. I liked the Christian/AJ/Tomko/Angle alliance a little better. The problem i have with the MEM is that no one in the group really has the same styles. You got Angle, Booker, Nash, and Sting. Just about all are complete opposite. Nash shouldn't be wrestling, and sting being a heel is just wrong. But on the flip Angle and Booker in a faction is pretty awesome, from a entertainment perspective.

The Legends championship could be a very interesting angle if done right. I actually think that would be a great idea for the wwe, but maybe TNA can pull it off. I don't really consider Booker T a legend, but i guess you wouldn't really want someone too old.

So is the Main Event Mafia going to last more the 3 months???? Or will they actually build up a storyline and properly execute it.

I have a feeling this will last about 3 months if that, at first, they will have all the members face off in singles matches at PPVs imo like AJ/Sting, Booker/Cage, Nash/Joe and Angle/some other young guy. after that they will begin to make them face off in tag match until a huge 8man tag to end it. Thats what I think and it could be alright for a while. I think Christian is young enough to be with Joe and AJ and he could lead them.

With the Legend title, it looks good but I really don't think it suits TNA. It kind of singles out the older guys from the actual World title. Booker T hasn't been TNA World Champ so why should he be legend champ if he can't even get the actual world title, they should have planned this out a little more.

I have a feeling that Cage will say hed rather retire than join the mafia. He fights Booker at TP and loses, before retiring and going to the WWE. But I like this idea and I think that although the personalities dont fit together, this could work. Booker as champ is great and I think this faction will last for a while.

I love the idea, Main Event Mafia looked so badass on the live edition of iMPACT! and I think they all do a great job of playing their roles. I think the point of the stable is they are putting all their differences aside to unite against the young guys, which is why the team seems kind of random with everyone being different. This is going to last at least another 6 months imo, the feud has been built up to the point that its making TNA's entire product more enjoyable
