-- SmackDown star Funaki is officially going under the name "Kung Fu Naki." WWE.com has changed all references to his name in his profile to reflect his new ring name. On last week's edition of SmackDown, Funaki was nicknamed "Kung Fu Naki" in a backstage segment with R-Truth. On last night's show, Funaki appeared in a karate outfit in a backstage segment with Vickie Guerrero and Big Show.

kinda funny... Maybe we can see Kung - Fu - Naki getting a slight push? Smackdown number 1 announcer maybe even doing his own entrance music and introducing himself to the ring? oh well this will be a classic gimmick. Edit damn me and my spelling it's not King its Kung my bad.

After all these years they decided to give him a new gimmick? Funaki has had more airtime in the last 2 weeks than in the last 3 years. I'm all for it, Funaki is classic.
