It all began September 2008. A new begining in Total Nonstop Action. I was hired as the head booker for the company. The first show of my era, the debut of Rob Van Dam, the main event of Rhino,Christian Cage and Samoa Joe against Kurt Angle, Booker T and Petey Williams started the trend.

The arrives of Colt Cabana, Matt Sydal and Matt striker to freshen up the Mid-Card.
The WWE Signing Samoa Joe leaving TNA without a World Champion. Until No Surrender, Alex Shelley an up and comming youngster in the pro wrestling world cheats his way to victory over Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle on the same night his tag team partner Chris Sabin captures the X-Divison championship.

Moving into October and Christian Cage and Booker T rage a fued right in TNA, While Shelley continues to wins over stars such as Kurt Angle and Christopher Daniels. Then at Bound for Glory, Alex Shelley shows the world he means buisness with a clean title defence, as Chris Sabin defeats the Black Machimso Jay Lethal in a Ladder match to retain the X-Divison championship and Team 3D defeat LAX to win the World Tag Team Title.

Heading into November and Christian Cage says that Alex Shelley doesnt deserve to be champion, however on Impact again Shelley flukes a win. Then Alex Shelley turns on best friend Chris Sabin, as he turns into an ego manaic. Kurt Angle and AJ Styles have fueds with Cowboy James Storm and Robert Roode respectively.
At the Genisis Pay Per View, Team 3D retained over Rob Van Dam and Abyss in a Hardcore tag tea Match, whilst Chris Sabin again defeat Jay Lethal to defend his title and Alex Shelley deliberatly got himself disqualifed to keep the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

After the great success of Genisis, TNA got a new show called TNA Tuesday, which was an hour long show used to propel newer talent to higher levels, this saw the debut of Harry Smith, the son of the Late great British Bulldog. The following IMPACT saw AJ Styles win a 10 man battle Royal to become number one contender to Alex Shelley's TNA title, whilst RVD attempt to take out Team 3D with a fellow ECW Original in Rhino. November also saw the debut of the tag team Darkness Falls which saw Raven and Kevin Thorn try to covert TNA to Darkness.

But then in December TNA truely turned to the Darkside, TNA has secured its greatest Aqusition.. the deadman.. The Undertaker who debuted as Stings surprise Partner at Against All Odds to defeat Kurt Angle and Booker T. Whilst Raven had a problem with another old friend Sabu, and they brought Hardcore back to TNA.

TNA Tuesday was then finally granted a 2 hour show as TNA threatened to Challenge the WWE. TNA was scoring great ratings no thanks to the Sting and Tomko rivarly which elevated Tomko to Main event status. Then on a Christmas Day bonaza, LAX defeated Team 3D for the tag titles, Undertaker defeated Kurt Angle to become the Outsiders Champion, Whilst AJ Styles finally defeated Alex Shelley to win the TNA World Heavyweight Title. However the LAX Didnt celebrate for long as the 30th December edtion of IMPACT, The MotorCity Machine Guns won a triple threat TLC which also involved team 3D in a match that was for the title but really did take alot out all the competitors.

We then came to TNA FINAL RESOULUTION PPV. Where Chris Sabin, LAX, The Undertaker and AJ Styles all defended there World titles. It was the Double joy for Chris Sabin as he and Alex Shelley did win the Tag titles in a Triple Threat Match on the January 06 broadcast. Christian Cage then rivaled Booker T and Kurt Angle with AJ Styles which resulted in Christian winning a handicap match as Styles had been taken out prior to the match. This started a push for Robert Roode when his tag team partner James Storm jumped to WWE with Kaz, Roode began to get wins over Sting as he got ready to pass the tourch.

Velvet Sky started to fall for Alex Shelley and she couldnt turn his advances, she earned him some good cheap wins. On the Feburay 03 edition, Homicide won a battle royal for the number one contendership to the X-Divison title, he lost the subsequent match to Chris Sabin later that night but put on a good fight. Also Undertaker was left startled when a burning teddy bear appeared outside the ring.

Against All Odds saw the Motor City Machine Guns defend the titles against LAX and retain them, Christain Cage defeated Kurt Angle, The Undertaker defeated Sting and AJ Styles defeated Booker T to retain thier titles. It was also announced that Jay Lethal will be out for a long time, whilst TNA decided to purchease alot of Ring of Honour Talent.

The February 12 show started the ROH invasion of talent, Chris Hero defeated Abyss, and the Briscoe Brothers Mark and Jay made a successful debut on IMPACT.
But then one man who was meant to change the future of TNA was signed. ERIC BISCHOFF. He came in with a signal of intent, firing all the Knockout divson, this broadcast also saw the debut of Mistico, he got a few easy wins before a shock win over Tomko.
Then on March 03, the debut was made Eric Bischoff introduced Kane to debut on TNA, also setting up Kane v Undertaker the following week.
Also to debut was Marcus Cor Von, whilst Robert Roode scored a few victorys over TNA world champ AJ Styles.

We end this update just after TNA Wrestlemania 1.

ok, this started out great but then it all went to hell. You said Samoa Joe was in the main event, but then you say WWE has acquired him. Then Undertaker is signed by TNA? And the show is now called TNA Tuesday? WTF?

Look, the concept is great. Its new, innovative, and it could work. What I would do, is start it out by introducing us to the new head booker of TNA (you), then go into EWR and actually play as TNA. Keep the roster realistic and use your backstory to talk about how you are going to help TNA reach the top of the wrestling mountain, and eventually overtake the WWE. Then book your shows using EWR as a base to plan feuds and storylines.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing your first show.

Hey man thanks firstly for your comment.

Your confusion at the start. Samoa Joe main evented my first show, then shortly after words WWE snapped him up.

This story may turn unrealistic but it will be based on EWR and i'm still updated the storylines to where i am today. Part 1 now fully posted is SEPT-MARCH hopefully later i will post APRIL-NOV09 where i am at the moment.

Hope this clears it up thanks.

I'll keep this open until the first show, to see how it goes, but like I have said before, there is an EWR thread already in the Gaming Zone

CMS, the idea is to update everyone on where the story is in my game, then when im fully updated i will make the transaction from EWR into a written BTB!

I hate people using EWR for their BTB. It takes away from what people actually do with regular BTB's.

Agreed. Let's see what the guy can do. EWR's match write up are horrible, but I could see where using it as a baseline could help and make it intereting. Give the guy a chance before you pee in his cheerio's.

That doesn't make it any better. It shows a distinct lack off creativity, and laziness. Anyone can do something with EWR to set the scene.
