if i run from a cop from County A (not because of like theft or murder or something serious) but i get into the next county, County B, can the County A cop pull me over? Sure, he could radio ahead to the County B cops, but can the County A cop pull me over by himself?

From what I remember learning in my history class about laws such as that, the only way the cop from county A can pull you over in County B is if he radios ahead to the County B sheriff's office and requests permission. I also believe that the only way they can pull you over is of they are accompanied by a County B police associate.

Back in the 80's some guy was running from the police in the US. He had the local police chasing him and he went into the next city and so on and so on. So he had at least 2 police cars from every city he had entered now chasing him. He then had the State Troopers as well. This idiot then crosses the State Line thinking they won't chase me, however at this point all possible locations were put on alert. He managed to get past the baracade they had set up and now had two cars from every city, state troopers from both states and the FBI chasing him. He was close to Canada so he thought, hey if I cross the border they can't keep chasing me. He crossed somewhere out west I believe in Saskachewan he went into where the border crossings are litterlly just a hut in the middle of a road. The Saskachewan Provicial Police and the RCMP had already been informed and had already with the local police there set up a baracade which he attempted to get through and almost did but practically killed his car in the process. He was arrested by the RCMP and held for 3 days in a Canadian Federal prison before being extradited back to the US. When he was captured there was aprox 80 cops from 2 states, one province, 2 countries, and 17 cities present in Canada where he was arrested. Because he had fled the cops, crossed county, state, federal and provinal borders, he could not be charged and held by each. Therefore all the charges were presended in a Federal case where he was charged by the US Federal Goverment under all the laws he broke in the pursuit, which included illigal entry into Canada, disobeying multiple speed laws in the various cities and states he traveled, resisting arresst, damage to public property in various municipalities, endangering lives in various municipalities, assult on an officer (suposedly struck one of the RCMP officers), and violations of several international laws. He was scentenced to life in a federal prision....and the worst part about the whole thing.....the original cop was trying to just pull him over because his plates were expired, which would have only been a $50 fine.
