Can't say I watch much of college, but I'm a Mizzou guy, maybe cause I got relatives there and I think Chase Daniels is a great QB.

Can't believe that ECU beat WVU...

OU played like total shit today...they still won 52-26...it was alot closer than the score shows. Cincy is a great team. Oklahoma State destroyed Houston and Tulsa just fucked North Texas in the ass.

I have a feeling that OSU is going to be moving down from #3 because of that weak ass showing against Ohio...even though they won...there are much better teams in the #4, #5, and #6 position...I even see OSU dropping to #5 this week...even though that probably won't happen.

Ohio State really did play like shit yesterday. They should've scored more than 40 points on Ohio...
Even Miami is turning into a shit team. They threw wayyyy to many screen passes on 3rd Down against the Gators.
I think the Gators should be #2, their Offense is incredible and so is their Defense...
And LOL @ West Virginia only scoring 3 points on ECU
ECU should easily be in the Top 10
Next Week's game: Ohio State @ USC
I think the Trojans will dominate the Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State coach Jim Tressel said Tuesday that running back Chris "Beanie" Wells will play in Saturday's game against top-ranked USC after missing last week's game with an injury to his right big toe.

How much Wells plays largely depends on his progress in practices Tuesday and Wednesday. Wells will run and go through individual drills Tuesday before participating fully in Wednesday's workout.

"He probably ran better than I thought he might [on Monday]," Tressel said.

Wells has been testing the foot/toe on a stationary bike and in the pool. He's listed as the starter on this week's depth chart ahead of Dan "Boom" Herron, who received the bulk of the carries this past week.

"He said to [offensive coordinator] Jim Bollman and I walking into the meeting room on Monday, he said, 'I'm ready to carry 45 times on Saturday,'" Tressel said. "He's not going to carry it 45 if he's not effective. He wants to play, and he's going to do all he can do."

Wells' teammates are confident the 237-pound junior will be ready for USC.

"Beanie told me he was going to play," defensive end Lawrence Wilson said. "When Beanie says he's going to do something, he does it. He's a tremendous competitor."

Saturday's game will air on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.

"If he steps on the field, he's going to give it his best. And his best is pretty good, you know," offensive tackle Bryant Browning said. "Yesterday I saw him running and he said he felt pretty good. He said he wasn't in much pain at all. He said he would be ready."

Last year, Wells averaged 124 rushing yards on 21 carries per game. Herron (12 carries, 50 yards), Maurice Wells (9 for 48) and Brandon Saine (5 for 15) combined for 113 yards on 26 carries against Ohio, which led 14-6 midway through the third quarter and 14-12 heading into the fourth.

"They ran hard. They combined for a pretty decent total," wide receiver Brian Hartline said. Hartline said their numbers might have been even more impressive except for some listless and out-of-sync play by the rest of the offense.

Wells isn't the only addition to the lineup, either. Starting cornerback Donald Washington and backup Jamario O'Neal both return as well, after serving two-game suspensions for an undisclosed violation of team rules.

They figure to give the Buckeyes a shot of depth and talent in a secondary that has been stretched thin in their absence.

Asked whether Washington would take his accustomed place at field corner, making Chimdi Chekwa, who started the past two games, a backup and nickel back, Tressel grinned.

"Tune in," he said.

lmao at Ohio State falling from #3 to #5.....all Georgia needs to retake 1st is run up the score on whoever they play, and have the USC/OSU game be REALLY close....I'm hoping OSU pulls it out so Oklahoma moves up :)...but I really don't care if OU moves up for the rest of the year. Ohio State will probably lose anyways....

Thats good news for Ohio State but I still think that USC will win.
If Ohio State plays the same as they played last week, USC will keep on scoring TDs on them all game long.

ya they obviously need to play better then last week and i think they will... idk if they can beat USC still but it should be a great game...

Ohio State coach Jim Tressel said Thursday it is doubtful that starting tailback Chris "Beanie" Wells will play Saturday night against No. 1 Southern California.
Tressel said there was lingering soreness for Wells in his right foot after he worked out on Wednesday night. Wells did not practice with the team Thursday morning just before it departed for Los Angeles.
Didn't they say on Monday that he will play?
They should've let him heal until Saturday and kept him rested...

I don't know about that...they may just be trying to swerve USC into thinking he won't play...>_> if it's true though it's a big loss for OSU.

Hopefully SC beats UGA right now...it looks like it'll be a close game. It looks like I'm the only one picking OSU over USC....
