There are some rumors going around that WWE could release Mr. Kennedy once his current contract expires. A source close to Kennedy believes there is something to the speculation. Kennedy is said to have lost his confidence as he is constantly being pulled in different directions by various officials. This has caused him to second guess himself. Kennedy will be out four to six months following shoulder surgery. I'm also told that WWE officials haven't been fond of all his recent injuries as of late. He had problems back on the indy scene with injuries as well.

WWE.com has added a profile on Primo Colon to the Raw Superstars section.

As noted late yesterday, the 9/1 Labor Day edition of WWE Monday Night Raw drew a final 2.9 cable rating. The first hour drew a 2.80, while the second hour drew a 3.07 rating. A drop in viewership was expected due to the holiday and coming off being bumped by tennis last week.

The Kennedy thing wouldn't surprise me, he doesn't even entertain me anymore. It's hard to believe it all went wrong, lol.

Kennedy has began to bore me too. Here is hoping that TNA can do better with him, if he goes there.

Another superstar screwed over by poor WWE pushing.

Because he will do so much better in TNA. They are the best at getting good talent over, it just took them how many years to get Samoa Joe on top?

it wasnt wwe's fault at all that kennedy is gonna get released. he had a bunch of injuries and a suspension. he would have definitely been world champ probably a few times by now if he stayed healthy and didnt fail any drug tests. he might actually be decent in tna but idc cause i dont watch impact...

Kennedy isn't going anywhere, he signed a new contract with WWE a few months ago according to an interview with Green Bay Gazette. He isn't going anywhere.

It would be a very dumb move if the WWE released Kennedy.

I don't think it would be dumb... In three years, he still hasn't been in the main event, and now he's in his mid 30's (33 I think), so he's not exactly young. It just seems like he can't get off the ground, and he's pretty injury prone. IDK, I like him, but I won't lose sleep if he's let go.

The Mrrrrrrrr Kennedy....Kennedy thing that he's been doing got old a long time ago, and he just isn't really over anymore. The injury didn't help anything either, so the way I see it, Kennedy getting released wouldn't be a big hit to WWE. I thought this guy was going to be the next big thing, but I guess I was wrong

I never liked him at all. His promos are repetitive and his mic skills are moderate imo. He always acts lame and he cant cut a pure promo imo.

His wrestling skills are not that huge, and his body size is not big either, so I dunno why Vince would keep him. He has nothing special about him at all.

Screw him imo. :)

And to think, he was going to main event Wrestlemania 24.
