TBF, some people try to argue Hall/Hogan/Nash as a trio, but they were just founding members of a group, and even then, Hall never won a world title.

Well yeah, there's a difference. nWo and Four Horsemen are groups, not trios.

I did say group in my original post, but also said WWE history, so this wouldn’t even be counting those groups.

Yeah as far as legacy and post-run goes, I don't think anything compares.

Horsemen were great but you also have to admit a lot of that ended up being constrained by having only one person on top, and half the members of the group never did become world champs.
