I think it was Montana that touched on it in the random talk thread, and I think it deserves a thread of its own because it can go on for awhile. With lots of ROH guys now legit Main Eventers, it seems like a good time to bring in new talent. Chikara is going to get ass raped for talent I'm thinking, and there's only a couple of guys outside of there that can be taken seriously.

I wouldn't go that far. Most of the guys on the CHIKARA roster are loyal to Quack, and although I could see them taking some ROH booking every now and then, I don't think they would leave CHIKARA.

The main problem is that we don't have the same influx of young guys in the indy scene that we had just a couple of years ago. Because of that, every indy company (Not just Ring Of Honor), is having trouble bringing in new talent.

Yeah, as i meantioned what they've done in the past month wouldnt be considered Fresh at all.

Kenny King signed a full time contract

Jerry Lynn has agree'd to more shows.

Neither of things fit under "fresh new talent"

Then you got Kenny Omega, whom im assuming will be signed, has good potential, but nothing official yet.

Then theres Sami Callihan. He looked pretty good in a dark match, i think he would be a decent addition.

I was expected more big name indy guys like Taylor, Kingston, Akuma, Tornado, Quack.

This. Tornado looked like he was getting signed until the knee injury. I saw a Chuck Taylor shoot a couple of days ago, and once he again he mention how he doesn't see himself in ROH because the higher-ups are not fans of his. I also saw a shoot with Kingston, he mentioned that he wishes to be booked in ROH in the future, but that he understands if ROH is hesitant to sign him due to his recent personal problems.

As for the other three, Quack's been busy with CHIKARA (Who are in the midst of the biggest year of the company), and Icarus and Akuma are also a part of that, so as of now, there's no chance of seeing them in Ring Of Honor.

I guess it was a bit more wishful thinking. Tornado and Kingston should eventually come in. Quack was also supposed to once he fully recovered from his injury. So i wouldn't be surprised if anyone popped up in ROH.

Chuck Taylor is wrestling a PWG show now too, so i think he's a longshot as well.

Well, I think we are starting to see some new faces.

Last night we saw Prince Nana return to ROH, and Chris Jones from FIP (I Believe)

Tonight features a slew of Chikara talent.

- Vin Gerard
- Brodie Lee
- Cheech and Cloudy
- The Osirian Portal
-Hallowicked

Plus Kenny Omega has been signed for the upcoming Canada shows.

Broke Nana makes me sad :(

CHIKARA slowly taking over ROH, however, does not.

I think that Ricochet from Chikara would be a great addition, also with Cloudy and Cheech.

I dont know about "loyal to Chikara"...

isnt Chikara a wrestling school, turned indy promotion. A lot of the guys in Chikara are VERY new to the business, and since Chikara is still a school in a sense, I doubt there will be much loyalty. ROH is easily obviously the better candidate...besides, its not like they'll be forced to choose.

I'll just say this, get used to seeing a lot of local talent used on shows. Sort of like the old days when guys like Ace Steel and Matt Stryker were always used on midwest shows, etc. Also look for a lot less foreign talent. I heard flying Dragon Gate / NOAH guys in was costing money ROH doesnt exactly have to spend.

Sami Callihan was announced to be doing a doubleshot in the midwest. He's pretty good, I was thinking for him in AOTF if he becomes a regular.

Silas Young is pretty good too, most of the matches he was in at ROH were pretty solid, even though they were short. and anyone that uses Journey as their entrance is already over with me.
